Hi folks,

 I have been dormant for a while. Working on C++ and other projects.

I have 10.2 for a while now but I am getting double audio (Like an echo) on many of the older VPX tables after the game starts. I tried a few settings but cannot resolve it. Can someone help?

Thank You.

I have got something very special coming in the next few months.

Did you search the forum for an answer to your problem? I remember someone else had that issue not all that long ago. Sadly, I can't remember how he resolved it

I finally found it. Under video preferences set FPS limiter to 1 to enable VSYNC. Worked for me. I think it plays smoother now too.

Not sure this is the same problem but, I was getting doubled audio/echo on Mustang LE and Scared Stiff.     Found a thread that suggested setting ddraw for the game to zero in regedit.    Worked like a charm.

Also make sure that you have the very latest VPinMAME installed.

Toxie,   I had all the latest 10.1.2 and PinMame installed and still had this the double echo sound on the two table I mentioned.     It was not until I changed the ddraw value was the problem resolved.     Just wanted to let you know.

I don't know, if it's right, but in the registry in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Freeware\Visual PinMame\ is a ddraw-setting for the tables.

If this isn't right, please correct me. I have to learn. :-)

You can do it even directly from the table script, add this

.Games(cGameName).Settings.Value("ddraw") = 0

0 means ddraw disabled, 1 enabled,

in the "Table1_Init ()" after:

.ShowFrame = 0
.ShowTitle = 0
.Hidden = 0
