I have messaged Russ direct, but I think it would be great to use this in a normal pinball.   Same way you can with other colour DMDs.

Perhaps a convertor board could be made to plug into the DMD ribbon cable to accept say an SD card to give a USB output to run this display, and put the 'shades' data on the SD card.

As Sterns use 16 'brightnesses' these could perhaps be customised to run colour.

Just an idea guys.

I did add a pinball dmd header for future real pin support. Have not got round to adding the firmware yet. The whole thing is more aimed at the virtual cabinet users really.
