Does anyone knows the ROM ID for "Shoot Again". Unfortunately it is not 11 like on may other tables with this CPU.

Christian - search google for "wildman light tester"

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

A few Bally tables from that time are problematic. On a few the "1 to 4 can play" lights are unknown ("Star Trek", "Harlem Globetrotters", among others).

I tried to find out the lamp IDs on those tables, but to no avail. Even Wildman's fine lamp tester BG shows nothing.

The one I found somewhere else produces an error message. But with more investigation I found that the corresponding bulbs on the playfield are already numbered this way -> ID 43 is Shoot Again on this BG.

Thank you for all your kind intention to help, Christian.

Probably we're to talk at cross purposes. I was talking about "Wildman's Light tester", which is, as the name clearly states, indeed by Wildman. This is a backglass which shows the lamp ids to certain events.

It's OK to to something supposedly bad when it's good.

The BG by Blacksad was unknown to me. I'll try it out.

Thank you, vogliadicane.

I tried the BGs by Wildman, bassgeige and Blacksad.

Still no sign of the "1 to 4 can play" IDs.

This seems one of the great mysteries of VP...

Stefan, I tried this one, but it does not allow the identification of the ID##. I cannot understand the purpose of the tool.

Hi Albert, some Bally SSs were equiped with "1-4 can" play lights, some not. when you look on page 43 of the schematics (HGToT) of the lamp driver board A5 you find none of these lamps. Too bad that the assignment in the schematic is not useable for our purposes.

Already in the 80's I never understood this inconsistancy in the so straight made Bally products.

Strange indeed. I just checked a "Harlem Globetrotters" video on Youtube and there were no lamps... The same applies to "Star Trek", but here the backglass has the transparency for the lamps (as seen here: https://www.ipdb.org...355&picno=13534), although no lamps were used for "1 to 4 can play".
