DARK RIDER - 1984 - GEIGER (Desktop Conversion)

This is a Conversion of Bally's: "STAR TREK" Table from 1979.

I Reformatted the Table using measurements of another table as my plattern and tried to recreate the backglass as best as possible (it did turn out a little too soft) using the original "Death Dealer" art by Frank Frazetta.

- This is probably one of the Tables i saw back in the day :hmm:when they had loads of Pinball Tables at the Restaurant we've frequented. I have fain't memories of the wild art on these machines by Geiger and Dark Rider was definitely one of 'em.

- Enjoy

this is one of those tables I wish we could find resources for, I've always liked the theme... this was the table I reskinned for my rat fink table... (plus it, itself is a reskin of star trek)

I hope someone with resources see this and posts them

I think someone that TAB knows recently bought one of these conversion kits over in Germany.

I like this one a lot, and it plays nicely...  but I did notice one thing. The Credits and Ball in Play numbers were displayed at the last 4 digits of Player 4's score - the Credit/Ball LEDs were off. I tried to run through the code to see if I could do a quick fix, but I couldn't find the references. Any help? Thanks!

here is the FS of Dark Rider

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=3056

I believe your talking about the B2S that isnt scoring correctly.... it might be a dream7 BG that means you need a 7 digit rom

http://www.vpforums....ads&showfile=49

or its the reverse you using a 7 digit rom with a 6 digit B2S

I'm using Wildman's directB2S with both the DT and FS tables and the startrek.rom. It happens on both of them.

Edit:  OK... I got the startreb.rom (7 digit scores) and it's working great now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
