So I have been looking for ways to burn my free time lately and decided why not try and do a conversion.

VIOLA!!!

JOKERZ!

The table that I learned to play pinball on and grew up with courtesy of my uncle (Who owned the table*). I figured I would attempt this table as this is generally one of my favorites as well as it having a fairly generic setup and decent graphics already. I am just converting and fixing. Learned a lot already.

Thanks JPSalas for allowing me to mod the original

This is my current progress in general conversion.

Things I have done:

* Convert

* AlphaRamp

* EmReels Fixed For Jackpot in DT mode

* Changed Several DOF Components but not all

* Tweak physics

* Lighting Works

* Ramp Raises and Lowers and rate similar to real machine

* Pop Bumpers are correct color

* Fixed Plunger/Replaced New

Things to do:

* Finish DOF Components

* Touch Up Trim

If anyone would like to play with it and leave feedback I would appreciate it.

Can't wait!  This is an old favorite of mine.  I've always loved the artwork.

For the folks still following. I know... small group. Lol. I only had an hour or so today to work on it but I got the basics of the PF lights going right. Thanks to JP for the pointers and help. Its nice when you can finally look at a piece of code and go THATS what THATS doing. And be able to progress .

very nice,  If i released tables based on my favorite list,  this would be in my top 5.

this is my complete rebuild WIP

Attached File  Capture.PNG   621.6KB   16 downloads

I may have to steal your DT settings. When I'm done.

that will be a long time from now,  I can't seem to make Primitive Plastic rams just yet.

this is one of my attempts for the center ramp

Attached File  2.PNG   173.89KB   16 downloads

Since I re-sized the table to the correct dimensions,  the VP 9 ramps need to be reshaped

But that is the least of my worries,  some of the commands in blender don't do what I want them to do, and I have no clue on what I"m doing wrong.

I made a Primitive drawbridge and redrew most of the image, let me know if you want it..

You will save me the effort of coding if you decide to use it.  I still can't get the basic ramps that make the bridge to work correctly in my VP9 code rebuild.

I would love to use it. I'll resize the table to the right size if I must. The ramp is going to be my last part. I tackle.

FS Picture woot woot.

I got the Center Ramp working. I tried to illustrate it in the pics buy having it only part way. But it takes 4 seconds to raise and 3 to go down. So its more of a slow motion like I remember from my machine. Not an instant one.

Can you double check before you go too far that the dimensions of the table are correct. Some of the older tables didnt have the proportions.

In the Table properties there is Table Width & Table Height, they should match what you see when you click Table->Dimension Manager and look up the manufacturer and year.

THey don't match.... I know. But I want to learn everything else first before I readjust the size. Ill have to rebuild the ramps and that scares me. So for now this is just a conversion. and once I am happy I will attempt all the Resizing.

BTW: Rewrote the Drawbridge Code. Works Fantastic. I do want to use your primitives if you dont mind

Fixed Jackpot Lights,

AlphaRamps - Still learning and playing but now you can see everything.

Now Trimming the plastics in red like the machine.

Primitive Flashers in. Just need to fine tune them. Took me a bit to figure out the coding and getting them to actually show.

This looks great, also a huge fan of this table. Make it a point to visit once or twice every trip to PAPA.

I think it's off to a solid start. The overall lighting looks a little pink to me -- kinda like TPA used to look. What do you think? Physics feel a little floaty. Maybe increase gravity and friction a bit (?)

Lots to like here though. I look forward to watching this table develop, and thank you for your expertise!
