When 2 balls go into the top right ball lock it causes the table to keep racking up points without releasing either a ball to the plunger or out of lock. Hitting F3 then restarts with dropping the balls left in the locks instead of new ball at plunger. Had this problem with the VP8 table as well. Not sure if it's a script thing, or in the ball lock mechanism.

Really? How often this occurs? Is it an occasional glitch or does it happen every time?

I mean...if it's occasional it'll be difficult to duplicate that problem and trying to find the reason...!!

Can you take a screenshot of the problem area and somehow highlight it with red color, etc. I'm not sure I'm following here.

I also encounter this problem.

Ok...are you talking about this particular kicker here? Do the balls get stuck here...and how? Does it look like there's not enough space for them to come out of the gate or what?

It's up in the top right corner, where the drop target goes down to capture the ball. The one you hit with the upper flipper. If it is struck after capturing the first ball it goes down again and takes in a second ball. Then sometimes a third ball is fed to plunger and you can still play. Or the balls just lock and no other ball appears.

It still seems to get all excited after locking the third ball, and then doesn't release them or allow game play to continue. Not sure about the ruleset. Is the release supposed to be triggered by the channel in the upper left by a 4th ball? Anyway, the game keeps scoring 5000pts every 3 secs with the balls stuck in lock, but not really the way I want to set a new high score, LOL! Hope this helps Kristian.

The game only has 3 balls. Perhaps the kickout speed is too slow - I mean it's at 180,1 right now.

One other thing, the flipper sounds is not included on this table, so I exported the sounds from another table you made and added them, it a good thing that VP9 can export sounds and images smile.gif
As for the "Trigger45", i haven't managed to get ball locked yet blum.gif I am a lousy player, he he.
And I have a question about the font used for displaying score, in other tables like Algar it looks very nice. I just looked in the editor on Algar, in the backdrop I see that Algar uses a Reelimage (LedReelPD), so if you have time for it, maybe Defender also could get one of those nice LedReelPD?

And thanks for all you hard work biggrin.gif

Can you experiment with this guys....find the line

bsLockup.InitKick Lockup,180,1

and change the value to say, 180,2

and report back. I'm in the middle of something so I don't have time to play....!!

I've finished my experimenting and still no luck Kristian. It has to be some other aspect of the script. If I lock one ball and then lose the next ball in play, the locked ball is properly released down the side to the right flipper and counts as your next ball. That is what is supposed to happen if you have a ball locked.

So the problem isn't in the lock's kick, or balls getting stuck. It's when all three balls have been locked and all are supposed to be released.

Also, when the right drain gate has opened and returns a ball to the plunger the game starts awarding 5000 pts every few secs. I believe this is related to that ball lock area.

Sorry I'm not more proficient with scripting to be of further help.

Thank you for making the table. I am on version 9.9.1 of VP and experiencing some issues with this table. The ball goes under the lanes on the lower half of the table. Also, I don't know if the two targets in the center of the table are supposed to drop, but they aren't.

UPDATE: So I thought that I would try again to see if I had missed something. Well, it seems that there are issues with all of the drop targets. The two in the middle will drop, but not reset; even between games. The others will randomly drop and reset, and some will not reset between balls. Hmmmm.

Thanks again.
