RC1 - version 0.1.9
-many physics tweaks - probably the last physics tweaks unless someone points out better adjustments.

 

**Note:This will likely be the last Release Candidate published before I release version 1.0 as my last step will be to implement JPSalas' VPX ball rolling/collision subroutine and fx_sounds.

Just a friendly recommendation to use the latest VPX 10.1 beta when playing the VPX version of Sinbad since that's what I've been using during development.

Nice work Kruge99. Is there a reason why i can't change the ball image for this table?  When i change the image the ball still looks the same.

I wish I knew the answer to that question because I want the ball to be darker myself...

I just remembered that there is a bunch of script code that handles the ball image as well.  Search the script and comment out all of the lines that have "ball_HDR" in them.

I had to walk away from this project for a while - was difficult to see the forest for the trees...  That being said, this is the final release candidate before I upload version 1.0.0

 

Please let me know if I broke anything along the way.

So I have modded pinuck/kruge99's sinbad to FSS, with my Day and night stuff and all that jazz. updated the playfield a little, I like the aged look of the original, and wished I could of found a hirez version of something similar.. will be on my FSS drive in a week or so, finishing up an FSS batch before I do that.

Yeah, a we had some complaints about the 'worn' look of the table.  Maybe one day I'll vectorize the playfield and plastics and release them as an add-on DLC or something that can easily be imported.

Just played in a tournament where I was a bit surprised to see a Sinbad machine with skill-shot enabled. Searching for this feature in the games manual without any success, I found BorgDog mentioning the Pascal replacement board having this feature over at Pinside. So, I contacted him about this and within a couple of hours he whipped out a option for this table to enable this feature by script alone. I've updated the script repo with the version that he gave me.

Thanks for the updated script, Thalamus (and of course BorgDog). The table didn't work for me in its downloaded form due to some script errors but using this script fixed that.
