So instead of having a shaker motor and solinoids, I was thnking of getting These and bolting them onto the pinball cabnet frame to vibrate the entire thing and make the cabnet a vibrating bass by proxy

They are made to put into a chair and vibrate the entire chair and your body as part of a Home entyertainment system

I use something like this - a homebrew version, but same idea.  (There are Youtube videos on making these on your own out of old speaker drivers.  Look for "DIY buttkicker".)

 

In my opinion, it's a good supplemental effect, but it's not a replacement for any of the DOF devices.  The best thing it does is provide some tatcile effect for the ball rolling and bumping sounds on old EM tables.  For bumpers and shakers and so on, the digitized audio just isn't as convincing as real devices even with a heavy-duty low-frequency transducer like this.

It's not bad but not as good as solenoids. You probably won't be able to use analog nudge either.
