Hey guys,

Is there are way to get the DMD (the one on the playfield) to work for Cirqus Voltaire, either the VPX or VP9 version?

Thanks in advance!

You can move your dmd window to the area of you like. That's the only option currently.

I've seen YouTube videos of people playing CV on visual pinball with both their third monitor dmd running as well as the playfield dmd for this table.

This is a unique table, as it had the dmd on the back side of the playfield, instead of on a separate dmd on the backbox.

Ideally, I'm looking for the solution to have the dmd displaying on both the (currently blank) "on screen dmd" as well as my third monitor (dedicated dmd).

The dedicated dmd screen can be seen slightly here:

This would be good as well, having a static Bally logo on the dedicated dmd, while the game dmd runs on the PF.

I'm just not sure how to do this. Likely somewhere in the table script. Could someone please let me know where to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Haven't personally seen this done before (ie: with two software DMD's). However if you have a hardware DMD running off PINDMD then you can achieve this easily. PINDMD will show the DMD on the hardware and you can turn on the 'software' DMD in the script for the 2nd DMD. That's the only way I've seen two DMD's running.

Same thing with showing a logo. I can set a logo to show in PinballX front end on my real DMD and leave it there static and then use the software DMD anywhere on the playfield. But in practice I always have the real DMD showing the DMD and the software one off.

So I'm not sure if it is possible to have two software DMD's at once, someone else might chime in....Cheers.

The thing is...that the DMD will not  be angeled correct(looks really odd), and also....it will be on top of everything like ramps aso.

Isnt this a case of moving the dmd to the playfield and unchecking the hide dmd option in pinballx to leave a static image in the backglass?

Well, this seems a bit out of my range (couldn't even locate where in pinballx to uncheck hide dmd).  Sometimes when I venture out to make changes to my mostly working system, I end up breaking something else.  These errors sometimes take me hours to fix, so for now, I'll leave the CV table as is.  The DMD is working on the third monitor, so I shouldn't be too picky.

Thanks for the replies!

Yea monitor=/=pindmd

They're saying, if you have an actual DMD, and not a monitor, you can get duplicate displays of your scores display. It will show up on the DMD, in it's normal position (DMD in this case means the actual 128x32 LED hardware display like a real pinball machine) and it will also show up on the screen if you want. If your score display is just a LCD monitor, you can't really do it.
