File Name: Fire Queen (Gottlieb 1977)

File Submitter: BorgDog

File Submitted: 10 Jan 2016

File Category: VPX Recreations

Author(s): BorgDog
hauntfreaks
sliderpoint
hmueck
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1977
Permission to MOD?: Yes, without approval

I took over the Vulcan vp10 beta project started by hmueck and hauntfreaks and with hauntfreaks graphics help finished up the table.  Big thanks to sliderpoint for cleaning up the physics, and helping me get a base model for my em tables (more tweaking of course always, but we have a good start).  This of course is Fire Queen, the 2-player version of the 4-player Vulcan which I completed first as I prefer the backglass image :)

Hold down left flipper key for options menu. (thanks for the idea loserman76 and gnance)
directb2s included

FS settings in the table are for my cab which has the playfield in portrait mode, most of you will need to adjust the Backdrop settings.
Here is a starting point for those of you running it the wrong way      :)  I can't vouch for how well it looks, feel free to post yours if you like them better.

Wow, BorgDog I am really, really impressed with your work on this table. I tried it in desktop mode (just increased the inclination for a more immersive view) and ended up playing for an hour straight admiring your attention to detail. Love the warm glow of the lighting, very convincing work on the inserts and targets. This table has soul, something very few have accomplished with EM's. Simply beautiful! :otvclap:

Another gem, very nice BD liking all these VPX EM releases, she can be a bit of a drain mistress at times though that's only to be expected, hell she would drain me. :)

Thanks again for another great EM

Couple of tiny things

When table rotated to 270, the lights from the desktop scores are visible

The Upper Kicker  (TopHole)  isn't visible, I did the old, old fix of creating a wall of 5 height, and setting TopHole surface as that wall

Loving these old EM's your doing, are really great in VPX
