Yes I had already googled it but it's not easy to pick through!  I have finally managed to download and unpack it but the games just crash. Will have to read through this thread again...

Well pardon me for not being an expert. I had clicked on the first link, however instructions like 'inserting the filepath' don't always appear obvious to the untrained amateur. Ever heard of the phrase 'if in doubt, ask'? I doubt I'll be asking for help here again.

Right click the Avast icon in the Taskbar, go to 'Open Avast user interface' go to 'Settings', then under 'General' scroll down to 'Exclusions', then under 'File Paths' click 'Browse', then browse to your 'Unit3D Pinball Beta' folder, tick to select it, then click 'ok'. I also use Avast, however it hasn't stopped me from downloading that file. Not sure why you're having that problem. The aforementioned guide is so you can use the Extractor.exe when you have it installed on your pc when using Avast. I don't think the Extractor.exe is really necessary if you're just using Unit3D to play Unit3D tables.
To make a url file exception, right click the Avast icon, go to 'Open Avast user interface', go to 'Settings', under 'General' scroll down to 'Exclusions', under 'Urls' put http://www.unit3dpin...inball Beta.rar  (Right click this link & 'Copy Link Location', paste into 'Urls') then click 'Add' then 'ok'.

 

With problems with running Unit3D, make sure you have VPinMame installed correctly, replacing the VPinMame.dll before running the VPinMame Setup.exe & the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Runtime also installed. Make sure you have the correct VPinMame http://sourceforge.n...ojects/pinmame/
