I had an old tool of this dug out that I've revamped this evening.

It's a quicker way to convert switch & lamp names into text so you can copy into your script. The window should stay above FP then you can copy/paste the lamp/switch names as you go.

If you leave table name empty it will spit a switches or lamps text. Table name prefix this output.

You don't have to pick a type for most switches? but you definitely do for bumper, spinner, sling, droptarget.

Pushing OK or enter without adding a lamp name will add "Light" number. Default lamp name for FP.

From VP or a fresh FP table I would just add lights as they are, so they get called Light1, Light2 but still create a lamp even if it's uneeded for the game. Add the uneeded away/off the table so you can delete easier in one go after you have added all your lights. This way saves any renaming grief.

Then you could use this, add comment and push OK with empty name to keep the default "Light" + slot number ,  or skip/unused if not used in the matrix.

I am sure I did the same with switches but untested this one. Create a sw1 and increment this each time adding a switch. Entering OK with a blank switch name should name it sw(slot number).

No worries. Had to add some things that were missing when I came use this yesterday.

  • Can set number of FP lamp or switch before you hit start
  • Go to number (took too long navigating with just the arrows)
  • Pushing enter on text fields added

i did not tryied yet.

How does it work? It generates mouse events to reproduce tedious tasks?

Because, there is one REALLY TEDIOUS thing to do: cleaning resourses (DMD fonts, musics, sound)...

Haha , funny you say that because I made something like that a long time a go with Autohotkey. I will have to look for it.

If you see the example its just allowing you to produce snippets for lamps & switches. You don't have to move the screen or be minimizing anything time wasting, you should be able to go through each lamp and add like so.

I dug out that script.

https://www.dropbox....DfyXyNoSNa?dl=0

Delete = Delete
Hotkey, ~%Delete%, Delete
Return

;TextureDelete:
;WinActivate, Texture Manager,ahk_class #32770
;Click
;Sleep, 50
;Send, {Tab 7}
;Sleep, 50
;Send, {Space 1}{50}{Left}{Space}
;Return

Delete:
Click, 	SysListView321,ahk_class #32770
Sleep (100)
ControlClick , &Delete , ahk_class #32770
Send, {Left}{Space}
Return

There is a compiled exe you can use, which I'd advise running as admin otherwise it may not pick up FP window.

Usage:

Hover mouse over the item in the list you want to delete and push delete. Rinse & repeat, don't go too fast though. Should add a check in there for that but it's not really needed, it's a lot quicker than doing it all by mouse. Enjoy.
