Best Answer hmueck , 08 June 2015 - 10:16 AM

In Stargate you have Ramps.
Robot, there is a "Disc" but i cant export the Priim ... :(

Ramps for Gottlieb flippers? How oldschool. Maybe on my own personal update i upgraded it...

Yes, that disc. No need to export, just copy/paste in your table! :)

Which Objects like Walls, Ramps are to rotate in a VPT ?

Exactly whats the Best for me to rotate / maybe scale an Image ?

I assume you mean rotate with the table script.
In a VPT (VP9) i would say: primitives and flippers. That's it.
In VPX there's also rubbers.
You can see in the commandreference.txt, that there are no other rotate commands.

A primitive is fine for rotating an image. Scaling should work too (haven't tested that yet).

Or you use the old school method: dropwalls. Create an image for each rotation steop, apply it to a wall and drop all walls but the one you would like to show.
I know, primitives it is... ;)

Check out any VP9 table with special flippers. E.g. my Stargate table. ;)
Copy the primitive and the picture for the gottlieb flipper.
The primitive is just a simple flat disc.
The code in the table is just like "primitive angle = flipper angle".

If you mean, you can't see the primitive after importing (like this):

then change the editor setting for the primitive from 0,25 to 1

You can rotate Flasher objects too.

If you check out my Star Wars mod, you'll see the green light that goes around the death star; that's moving the X and Y coordinates as well as rotating on the X and Y planes.

On my Scared Stiff table, all the flashers (including the spinning spider and its rewards) get rotated to face the player at run time.  You so you can change the incline of the table and the Flashers always face the player.

Stat, what were you looking to rotate/accomplish? this will likely change how you do it.

with the wall objects, to my knowledge they can not be rotated, however primitives can.

The work around for walls and ramps that I've used is to create the illusion of one moving by having multiple ramps/walls and toggle whether they are visible/enabled treating each as a frame of animation

Thanks Shoopity and lodger,

I have been looking for a Rotation Object for my Lever at "Alle Neune Bowling DT/FS",

hmueck pointed me in the right Direction and i have solved it.

The other Way with rotated Flashers are new for me, i will take a look at this later, thanks Shoopity.

Btw. i know. i should move to VP10 next time ;)
