File Name: Aquarius (Gottlieb) (1970) FS.zip

File Submitter: GNance

File Submitted: 28 Mar 2015

File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): GNance
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Year: 1970
Permission to MOD?: Yes, with approval

 **** REQUIRES VP 9.9x *****
'*
'*        Gottlieb's 1970 Aquarius
'*        Table primary build/scripted by GNance
'*        http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=79
'*
'*  Thanks to the following for their contributions (whether they know it or not!)
'*  If I have missed anyone, let me know as this table would not exist without the
'*  folks in the community.
'*
'*
'*  Loserman - Aquarius was started from Loserman's Spin-a-Card - so the following credits should look pretty familiar!
'*
'*  JPSalas - gameroom backdrop and methods gleaned from his fantastic tables
'*  EalaDubhSidhe - table object templates
'*  Black - HS save/load routines
'*  Itchigo - table templates which gave me ideas on how to accomplish what I wanted in this table
'*  akiles50000 - images used for the plastics
'*  Inkochnito - scorecards/instruction cards
'*  Herweh - directB2S designer and tools
'*  JimmyFingers - rolling ball and other objects' sound routines
'*  hauntfreaks - newer postit note images
'*
'*  Of course, the team behind Visual Pinball - without them, there wouldn't be much choice for playing pinball on a PC
'*  I also must include Black and his Future Pinball as I used tables on that platform to help in building my VP tables.
'*

For this table, I am using Loserman's new method for enabling/disabling the dB2S backglass.  By default the backglass is disabled.
The easy way to enable it is this method:
1. Launch table and then exit.  It will auto-create a file in the USER folder of VPinball named "LMEMTables.txt"
2) Open this file in notepad and change the "0" to a "1" and save.
3) Next time you launch, the backglass will launch.

Or, you can create the file LMEMTables.txt in the VPinball USER folder and put a "1" (no quotes) in the first and only line of the file.

Thanks for the nice table. Flippers don't seem to be working right. When pressing flipper button the flippers very slowly moves upwards and does not come back down. They are also very bright.

Sounds like you are using the wrong version of VP.  You need to use 9.9x for this table.

@GNance, very nice job table looks and plays nice!

Just wondering if the flippers should have the solenoid "hum" these older EM tables have when you hold the Flipper button in?

Great table. A big challenge for a newcomer like me. Never managed to switch all lights out .... still trying.
