This app is a new beast when it comes to physics and lighting. Looks like the feedback at the TPA forums has been taking into account.

The Android version allows free play with advertising but definitely worth buying the dark mode add-on.

The Gold option gives all current tables plus new EMs that are coming, plus ability to adjust physics, lighting, worn playfield, glass reflection with smudges, scratches, etc.

The new physics are a massive improvement and fully adjustable.  Accurate physic, aiming, ball control.

Update: 11th March 2015 - iOs version has BRAND NEW physics too!!!!   Don't let the old physics put you off.

Looks good but from what I understand it's not going to scale well, pretty low resolution.

Looks great on a 9" tablet and no jaggies. I think those screenshots might be scaled down, I took them from other peoples posts. You can also use a USB keyboard, XBox, etc controller plugged into a USB port.

The lighting effects are the best on tablet I have seen. TPA is really poor in comparison.

Yeah, some have tried on their cab via bluestack and have said it's jag city. However others have plugged in their iPad on a 50" tv via hdmi adapter and they've said it's great. Is it possible blustacks is making the android app think it's on a low Rez device?

Ok I doubt it would look good on a 50" TV :). Just comparing it to other mobile pinball it stands out as the best for me with the new physics, really nice dark lighting with flashes, and immersive sounds. Makes TPA on Android look pretty poor in comparison.

The good thing is the devs are really responsive having this week putting out two new versions to deliver requests made only this week. Controller support, lighting adjustments, etc.

If it does well they might do a Steam release, and then I am sure they will use higher res stuff, so by supporting it on mobile it might happen.

Having seen the resources they have, they're not working with high quality stuff. It'll look fine I'm sure but it won't compare to the VP releases

I'd fully support a Steam release though. They mentioned in the Pinball Arcade Fans forums something about cabinet support in the future so I'll be following it closely.

Nothing touches the VP PC stuff for sure - the tables have advanced in the last 2 or so years to a standard unimaginable. Some of the latest lighting is outstanding, and being able to play HD EMs in a cabinet with a working backglass is a dream come true. It also surprises me that the VP community have professionally scanned stripped playfields, whereas the likes of Farsight use pretty much an instamatic camera.

For the Zaccaria stuff the app has 30 or so tables and the download is 300meg so that is less than 10 Meg per table forgetting the engine code as well, so I guess they scale a lot of stuff down.. Well hopefully if there is a PC version.

looks fairly good on my samsung 12.2 tab (2560x1600).  Buy the gold package and get all tables, not bad at all.  Already better than TPA I think.

Alright I got it working now on my PC. Performance issues mean I can't enjoy it but I still have my Nexus 7 to enjoy it on. It's amazing what they've done....TPA could learn a thing or two
