This could be helpful for those who are looking for new .obj's - how to rip assets (models) from psp games from ROMS(ISO).

some of the pinball titles out there include Pinball Hall of Fame:williams collection that may be a source for resources (there is a new psp system (vita) and I am pretty sure these games are out of production)

You say it goes to .obj but in the linked tutorial a different format is being reference?  Do you have to in turn use another tool before you can get it as something useful for VP or can you go straight to VP?  Thought from the description that you could go straight from PSP to a workable .obj / texture combo for VP.

Is this something you've done or just found this video and thought it may be of use (i.e. haven't tried it out to see if it's viable yet on your own)?

in certain games, you can access the models and export as .obj which can be imported...this really varies from game to game. these could be super helpful to create toys or other assets that would work within the vp engine.

I'd like to get the models of a sega saturn pinball game, Last Gladiadors. Loved that game!

If it ain't broke, it's probably a good idea to take it apart anyway!

I just post here to hear myself type.

PSP pinball games:

Williams: Gorgar, Pinbot, Funhouse, Black Knight, Space Shuttle, Whirlwind, Firepower, Taxi, Jive Time & Sorcerer

Gottlieb: Ace High, Big Shot, Central Park, Genie, Black Hole, Victory, Tee'd Off, Goin' Nuts, El Dorado City Of Gold, Strikes n' Spares (redemption)

think that's it....not very high quality models.

Pinball Heroes Tables (PSP) are very nice too, also have it ony my Cab ;-) (of course with PPSSPP)

Back to Ripping:

But it can be very helpful for other Models, like Monster Hunter, for any Original Tables.

Fren: it may not be on psp, but i just noticed that there was a futurama game for xbox and a few other platforms...there might be models in there or textures that could be harvested for your og table
