Souldriver, Do you Play on one Screen ?
Controller Errors mean: you have no B2S install / no B2S File ...
I think, you should Go to Script and search for the Line with ...

Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

and replace it with

Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")

then, save the Table, and have Fun !

If you want to Play on 2 (or 3) Screens, also you can use Backglasses,

( then dont Change the Lines above )
one like this: http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=9458
Put the extracted File to your Tablefiles (not the.zip or .rar).
AND install this, should be easy: http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=7426

No Problem, i hope it will help you.

One Screen, so just replace the Lines, that should be all.

Now do you use the TAF Gold last Edition 2014 ?

yes, sorry, there is a Controller Parameter, some Tables have it,

please take a look at Line 9:

'Choose Controller: 1-VPM, 2-UVP, 3-B2S
Const cController = 3

And in your Case, Change the =3 to =1

Allways, on your Tables, Change the Parameter to your Case (mostly 1),

if there is not a Parameter, Change the Lines.

Welcome to the wonderful World of VP, Scripting, and some Trial and Error ;-)

But at the end, it will be very nice, you will see :-)

( i remember, last Year the same at me ... )

....lol.

This is somewhat unrelated but while on the topic of 'thing ball' I wanted to mention if you are using Melon's version of TAF that uses 3D primitive models I made a slight aesthetics fix for the primitive thing ball.  Allow me to explain,  when Thing grabs the ball, the real game ball is destroyed and replaced with a primitive mesh ball, but as you may notice the ball doesn't match the game ball at all.  So all I did was export the 3D primitive ball and applied UV mapping coordinates so that it could use the game ball image (JPBALL4.png) and did my best to make it blend with the game ball.  It's not perfect but it's considerably better than it was in my humble opinion.

To apply this (graphical only) fix simply select 'thingball' on the table, import mesh and import 'thingballfix.obj'  then change the image/texture map to JPBALL4 and un-check sphere map.
