Glad you guys like it! I'm happy to do it. I know they aren't on par with "LW NM or Sinbad/mfugelman etc (very long list of modern bad asses) but they're fun and as Shadow sorta said they're kinda like place holders til a master makes it killer!
Enjoy!

My kitchen just got a new ceramic floor and I can't walk on it until tomorrow morning... And to get to the pincab / man-cave, I have to go through the kitchen. :(

Thanks! Very little diff, TBH from vidmouse version graphically. Also, very little diff between vidmouse and original VP8 version.

The great and powerful kiwi added missing initialization targets code, now when the table starts, the three targets behind are down.

Often my "improvements" could be considered a lateral move (maybe even a step down :/ ) but I like them. If you don't, I'll provide a full refund.

The check's in the mail :)

For a future upgrade if you are looking to do one, don't know if the image lines up but Francisco redrew the playfield and plastics for his FP version. Still happy to have it in any form, so thanks for this.

These are the flipper settings I used from Sinbad that Pinuck and I worked on, because it's almost from the same era:

Speed - 0.655
Strength - 0.08
Elastcity - 0.6
Scatter - 0.2
Return Strength - 0.5
Recoil - 20
Power-Law - 2
Oblique - 5
Override by Global - 0

These settings allowed me to hit the purple targets a little more accurately.

Another thing maybe for a future revision would be to add a more recent nudge routine because the nudge is "Hulk" strength right now.  ;-)

Very cool, thanks I'll try asap. I LOVE Sinbad! I don't remember but I think I used either Close Encounters or Abra Cadabra.
TBH, I didn't know the nudge routine could be changed... I thought VP8's were stuck with backwards or Hulk smash strength. Maybe you can point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Thanks Dboy--Hulk and Hawkman are both asking for a db2s when I launch them. I don't find one here or elsewhere.

Let me preface this by saying that until VP10 comes out, in my humble opinion, this was a pretty good solution to the nudge problems in VP9.x  This may start a "nudge effect flame war" but I hope not.

Not the same manufacturer, but check out Evel Knievel by Destruk and Noah.  I don't understand all of the scripting but start by looking for "Dim LeftNudgeEffect, RightNudgeEffect, NudgeEffect" in the table script.

http://www.vpforums....s&showfile=2812

Probably another excellent place to look for help is Nitro Ground Shaker RC1 for VP9.x from Eala Dubh Sidhe.  This often overlooked table still blows my mind for build quality and excellent formatting in the scripting.

I looked at EK, already hep to that version (I'd like to share it, it's nicer than the available FS version) but anyway, that was at the bottom of the script. Also found Noah Nudge in NGS. I tried all 3 and couldn't really tell a diff. All I was doing was adding to the script, do I need to remove anything? Out of my depth a little...

I do like your flipper settings! Visually the seem too fast but they play great! Looks like I used Close Encounters which is also pretty close period-wise. Variety is the spice of life. Thanks

Sidenote, what ever happened to Pinuck?

Yeah, you might need to get some tips from Noah on how to implement the nudge in another table, there might be some timers involved somewhere.  As for Pinuck, he's on hiatus I believe.  Found himself a real Theatre of Magic and can't be pried away from it. ;-)

In Noah's Nudge System there are three timers:

NudgeTimer

RightNudgeTimer

LeftNudgeTimer

Kiwi with the save, again! He has more saves than David Hasselhoff on Baywatch!

I'll try it, thanks!
