Funhouse VP91x 2.1.1

Version: 2.1.1
Category: VPinMAME 9.x Recreations

Author(s): JPSalas

Description:
Based on Funhouse by Williams 1990, for VP9 only
I don't think you need an introduction to this machine. smile.gif

Just a few notes about the game:
- It uses two strengths for the nudge, a normal one and a stronger one using the keys on the sides of the normal nudge keys.
- Press R during the game to get the rules of the game and some extra tips.
Otherwise it is a normal VP table, so just get it and have some fun smile.gif

Changes in 1.1:
- fixed misplaced switch
- moved the upper flipper a little more up to make it easier to hit Ruby.
- fixed slingshots (but don't complain now if some shots doesn't register, even if you see the animation smile.gif )
- removed the extra light on the right inlane.
- Removed the color steps lights, and added the lights on the back of the hands.
- Changed the color of the transparent ramps.

Update 2.1
- Updated for VP91x, with alpha ramps and new graphics and settings.

Update 2.1.1
- Tried to fix the ball loop between the bumpers

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Nice. I always seem to be around when you release new tables. Guess it's timezones or something like that.

Thanks so very much for this and all your fine work.

No offense meant to the Great Pacdude, and the late and also Great Lander but

This is JP Style again wink.gif

You did a really great Job! Graphics are awesome, and the best possible transparent Ramps.
Only thing i do not like is the Physics, like always. But thats not really a Problem for me, easy to adjust smile.gif

5 Stars for my Friend!!

GRONI

For the People that love that table in the Classic 4:3 Angle and do not know
how to change that, i would love to make a MOD Version of this already great
Table!! Damn I´m so happy to play that Table again..I almost forgot how
much fun it was to play that in real.

So If you like a Mod, just give a wink, and I add my stuff to the Table, for those
that are not firmed to do that stuff by their own.

Just for those who think "groni mod every JP Table, why he do not create his own Tables"

Problem with the new JP Angle is:

It´s for a 1 Monitor Setup. When I place the DMD on the second Monitor, then i have so much
free Space on the Screen. And I think to use most of the Monitor for the Playfield.
Also I´m creating my Pincab, and love to have every Table in nearly the same Style. So in first
Case I do it for me. The Upload for the Community is a Bonus for those who love that Angle too,
and also the Sounds and Physics I do to my Tables.

Hope you can understand what an old German Guy is writing smile.gif

GRONI

My current VPX Tables I am working on:

Attack from Mars/Finished - The Walking Dead Pro/90% - The Lord of the Rings/75% - Family Guy/90% - The Simpsons Pinball Party/15%

Hey GRONI! I would love a version with your physics as I have grown quite accustomed to them! Thanks in advance! :-)

Enhorabuena JP, esta mesa te ha quedado fantástica, para quitarse el sombrero.

Thank you for your hard work.

And now the petition section. A VP9 version for your Eight Ball Deluxe will be amazing. And your Class 1812 works well in VP9, maybe with a little work in outlanes and inlanes can be perfect. Thanks in advance.

There's never any doubt when I load up a new JP table that I'll be amazed and delighted by your craftsmanship. A truly remarkable effort on the detail in Rudy's expressions. Thanks for another super release Biff. (Bet you got tired of being called that while testing this)

Excellent release JP. I am absolutely enjoying the eye candy and gameplay of this table. I appreciate the time and love you, as well as others, put into your recreations. I would just like to request that you offer themed backdrops for 4:3 table view (your old fullscreen/wideview style) and instructions on how to change the table view to match the 4:3 backdrops. If you decide to do this, could you possibly make 4:3 themed backdrops and instructions on changing the view for your previous VP9 releases. I think most everyone would appreciate these added tidbits so that we can play your VP9 releases in fullscreen/wideview. MIKE

***EDIT*** JP, at the very least could you make a separate themed backdrop for your default angle (angle w/ dmd/speakers) as I could also live with that. Thanks! MIKE

I found a problem:

the ball bounces back and forth without stop, just look at my score ohmy.gif
This has happened to me several times, a nudge does the trick.
Probably an easy fix...

I would also like to make some suggestions, the rubbers on the flippers are a bit too bouncy, setting the elasticity to 0,35 make it a bit easier to control the ball.
The kicker named "sw58" should in my opinion be placed 5 units to the right, X is 755, I changed it to 760, so the ball don't hit the slingshot.
The upper flipper should be a bit shorter I believe, 110 should be fine, and I think it needs a bit more power.

If you don't like my suggestions, ignore them tongue.gif

And thank you very much again for putting so much work JP, it's very much appreciated biggrin.gif
