I was having a few games of Stingray tonight and I couldn't manage to get a 3 or 4 player game going... deleted the nvram too just to be sure. Anyone else tried playing a 3 or 4 player game? I feel kind of n00bish just posting this because I can't figure it out! whtflag.gif

The Problem seems to be ROM related. If you substitute another similar but different ROMSET, for example the ROMSET for Stern's "Memory Lane", you are able to select up to a 4 player game by pressing the "1" key. Problem is, all the other game features would work improperly, and you would have to build and script the game differently for that particular ROMSET. There must be a problem with the pinmame emulation of this rom. The same problem happens with Stern's "Pinball" which uses the same ROMSET as Stern's "Stingray".
