Hi,

 

I have a Windows 8.1 game pc.

 

 

Are there more people with the problem when you installed everything correctly that you get an error when loading the table?

 

Error: can't find plugin/DirectJoy.dll.

 

Is there a solutions to solve this problem? (i have replaced the vpmame.dll)

That file should be in:  Unit3D Pinball_Data\Plugins

The file DirectJoy.dll is standing in de Data\Plugins folder. So it is there.

 

Really no idea what is going wrong :-(

misschien wissen en opnieuw installeren

Ook dat heb ik geprobeerd. Zal dit weekend nog wel eens proberen om het op een andere schijf te installeren.

Bij jouw werkt het wel met 8.1?

Heb ook een Windows 7 pc die werkt wel maar een te lage fps wil alleen geen Windows 7 op mijn nieuwe pc ;-)

Have you got the latest DirectX9 installed?.

I have directX11 but you also need 9?

Yep, Unit uses DirectX9.

indeed. And also Visual c++ redistribuale v10...

Still not working with both, Visual c++ and directX 9 installed

Makes sure you install the x86 version of visual c++. 

 

At first I was installing the 64bit version and things still erred out.

I have installed x86 so i don't know what the problem is.

 

Also have problems with Steam and starting pinball arcade. but games like watch dogs and wolfenstein are working perfect...

look is there the DLL loock into file options there is often a field to unlock the dll

right click on the directjoy.dll and select properties and click the button located toward the bottom that says "Unblock"  and then run the united3d.exe (or whatever it is called)  as aministrator and it will work.

 

So is this beta ever coming out?  is there ever gonna be more tables or is that FP import going to do more than show a loading screen that will freeze up as soon as it attempts to find scripts.cs i think is what the error was 6-8 months ago when i was excited for the "BETA coming soon", i realize there is very limited manpower on this project but cmon guys it doesnt need to be fricken perfect for the testing phase thats the whole fricken point,  I dont want to see this project evaporate into thin air but unfortunately thats what this is starting to feel like,  i have emailed both lizou and bilbox multiple times with a couple straitforward and simple questions and never got a response,  wait maybe if i sent them money they would answer my questions or at least give me the metallica table for the non existent beta (only people who contributed get the metallica table??  call me a psycho but this feels like they are selling a table...because if they are not selling it then people who contribute now dont get shlt?)  At first i was super excited about this project but as time goes on i find that where i was once checking the site to see if the beta was released on a daily basis im no longer bothering to look really at all. too bad.

Hi Neophyte,

 

It was allready working ;-) It didn't work for me before my motherboard was dead :-(

 

After that i had to install windows 8.1 again and it was working well. But thank you for a solution for other members who have the same problems.

 

Also hoping for the Beta. We will see.... ;-)
