I figure i would start this WIP off by posting a model of a building. One of MANY models i have to make from scratch(and i have no idea what i'm doing) as my real machine has crapy melted buildings and no way would i make the table with them....though it would be realistic looking! lol 

 

Anyways wasted a day on this first one figuring out just how i was going to do it! Unclewilly is a tough boss and really is cracking the wip on me!

 

Also attaching picture of real building i modeled for reference.

Love these 3D model videos.

Maybe this is where Blender would be useful to create the 3d mesh and then apply the textures to the sides. I failed miserably on my first attempt to use Blender today...

What software are you using to create the models? I use sketchup because it's free but can't export to the format required for VP

Blender and photoshop.

Again just first drafts...but here is another basic shape and texture of 2nd building...MANY more to do. pic of actual building attached.

If you have a model i can export it for you. or just use blender as it will import and export any format.

Sweet job on the buildings.
I'll have some base table layout pics up soon.

As for krull. The only problem with that is lack of good usable resources.

I think I may have a partial playfield redraw but don't have the skills to do that in depth art.

Fire I have 2 nice base playfield pics. And a lot of high res pics to work with. Hopefully grizz will have time to help me out with this one. If not I will stitch something together. I'll save that part for the end. Trying to get a workable table together first. For bug testing

Those are really impressive randr!   It's really weird that the originals are shaped a little like Flintstone's house's but your models are spot on duplicates. 

I am so exited to see this table getting some much deserved attention.  I am really going to enjoy watching you and UW work you magic on this!

randr, the "flash or light reflection of the camera?" is showing on one side of the building in the last rendering video....

allright,  alot of photoshop work on plastic textures has only left me with about an hour to build.  so not much done.  i got the apron and slings done.  also added the canopy in the back just so i could see the nice model in the table.

 

the playfield is just preliminary.  haven't worked on it at all but using it as a base.  i have plenty of images to get it looking really good though.

 

Will have more work done tomorrow.

 

had to get a little wip going,  i need to catch up with randr (the boss) (modelmaker extrordinare).

Randr: If you're capturing sounds, you might also capture the noise the ball makes when it enters the metal ramp at the top of the ladder.     If I remember correctly, it makes an unusual "clank" that won't be in the typical libraries.
