Hello guys, im back (after longer time of abstinece). It was a lot happen in the past months DX9, PinballX... great!

After installing the newest updates, i´d updated my DMD monitor also (withness like a real DMD!) Now I´ve a problem with the "new" DMD screen: the size of the DMD can not be fit the withness of the monitor (1360 x 768).

The DMD has a big black border around it.

After trying a lot of hours i give up ... :whtflag:

My monitor setup is:

39" Playfield, 1920 x 1080 (at a MSI NVida 660 GTX)

26" Backbox 1920 x 1080 (at the same MSI NVida 660 GTX)

17" DMD 1360 x 768 (at an onboard Intel Graphics card)

My settings (screenres.txt) are:

1920
1080
1920
1080
2
0
0
1360
352
1920
391
0

The registry key settings

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\default\ddraw" is "0"

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\default\dmd_height" is "0x00000160 (352)"

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\default\dmd_pos_x" is "0x00000f01 (3841)"

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\default\dmd_pos_y" is "0x00000178 (376)"

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\default\dmd_width" is "000000550 (1360)"

(also for all other roms). What s wrong? Think i´ve calculated the correct aspect ratio for the DMD (see attachted Excel file). Please can you help me solving this issue?

:bye2: :bye2:

Yes. And a trial with fresh download and a re-install for the cab version showes the same effect ...

The black border is because some setting in the registry to make the dmd look smoother, i forgot the location.

Year. That was my fear. Think I will delete the registry entries for Visual PinMane and re-install the roms. Do somebody have a better idea?

Guys, I solved it !!! :db: This was the workaround:

At first I downloaded and installed the new VP 9.9 version.

Then I downloaded the new SetDMD 1.05 from BigBoss http://pinballbulbs....les/setdmd.html.

Before using the tool I deleted the complete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware" folder in the registry (!).

Then using this little tool and placing the DMD preview on my 3rd screen.

Set DMDonly = ON and D3D = ON.

Saved the settings as default and updated ALL roms with this data.

:otvclap: I got it! My FULLSCREEN DMD is working well. :love39: Thanks BigBoss for SetDMD 1.05. :love39: Thanks community for the VP Update.
