Williams Barracora (1981)  [FS 9.2.x FS cabinet release]

Targets on left bank and right bank must be hit in order to drop targets.  Completing bank will enable Multi-ball lock and increase Bonus Multiplier.  Complete BARRA-CORA increases Super Bonus Multiplier which carries over to next ball.  One strategy is to lock ball in top lock and play single ball until it drains.  When it drains, ball in top lock is released allowing you to continue play and repeat strategy

Another special feature:  Winner during multiplayer game is awarded 30 second Multi-ball at end of play

Thanks to all VP, B2S, DOF, Media authors/developers who contribute to this hobby

Special Thanks to:
akiles50000 - For the Big Brave Supertutorial (http://www.vpforums....showtopic=25665)
fuzzel, toxie - For continuing to improve/update Visual Pinball.  New lightmap/primitives/plunger feature used on this table
JPSalas - Inspiration taken from the TOTAN beta.  Learned how to use insert lightmaps/decal layer
melon - Inspiration taken from the recent BK2K release. Learned how to use do GI lighting effects including reflection
DesAngel - Inspiration taken from the VP8 Barracora table

NOTE: William's COIN/CREDIT setup.  If 5 key is giving more than 1 credit, here is how to set it correctly.  Press 9 to open door.  Press 8.  Press 7.  Press 8.  You can now press 8 repeatedly until you see setting 4 - 19.   Use the 1 key to change this setting to 1 (Press 7 if needed to change direction).  Press 9 to save setting. Play

Thank you for this nice table.

When you Flip a group of ramps, they lose the right orientation,
such as plastic pegs of the right sling .
Select all ramps and re-flip again to correct the orientation.
In Full Screen this hardly notice, but on the desktop you see that the pegs seems weird.

Thanks

Max

Edit : If you want to improve the performance a bit, you can reduce the two flippers logos.

With this image

williamsflipper.png

the size of the primitive object is X-Y Size 31.

Change line 38 to 0

     Const cDMDRotation = 0  ' 0 or 1 for a DMD rotation of 90°

Or switch to directB2S backglass from Piggei

@KIWI - Thanks for the feedback on the ramps and primitives.  Will work on desktop release after I play some of the new table releases.    :P

Hello
Very good job.
For rotating logo I replace these lines

Sub UpdateFlipperLogos
    LFLogo.RotAndTra2 = LeftFlipper.CurrentAngle
    RFlogo.RotAndTra2 = RightFlipper.CurrentAngle
End Sub

Sub UpdateFlipperLogos
    LFLogo.RotAndTra2 = LeftFlipper.CurrentAngle-88
    RFlogo.RotAndTra2 = RightFlipper.CurrentAngle+88
End Sub

Just picked up a real Barracora yesterday.

This visual pinball recreation is a big part of us getting one.

Now, I just need to take the time to fix all the inserts for DX9 compatibility and it will be perfect. I'm just too lazy to get started with it and I have my real table to mess with now. :)

Can someone tell me the fix for DX9?    I tried setting the depth to 58 on PlasticsOn and PlasticsOff according to the compatibility spreadsheet but no joy.   Is there another solution?

I have not had time to try it myself yet.

I know the table author said he planned an update for it soon, so maybe you won't have to wait very long.

I have been enjoying the hell out of the real Barracora so much that I have not had time to worry about this one.

This table is simply a blast to play and learn the awesome rule set.

Here is a beta release with dx9 fixes.

https://www.dropbox....S 1.1) beta.vpt

 I still want to re-do the text on the inserts as they can be sharper, but this table should be playable in DX9 for now

List of updates:

rotated flipper logos
fixed posts that were mirrored
lightup bumpers
dx9 compatibility fixes: missing text, dark inserts, missing drop targets when lowered, missing plunger
fixed animation of outlane, inlanes switches
increased plunger pull speed
