Setup one table manually the way you want it.  Open the registry and locate Computer\HK_LOCALUSER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\<rom filename> for the table you manually setup.  Write down the values for the 5 keys below, navigate to Computer\HK_LOCALUSER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame\Default and create duplicate keys in the Default folder.

Every new ROM/Table played will start with the default values.  You can edit any existing ROM entries or delete them, so they will be re-created based on the default key the next time you run that table

Interesting... That is the setting for all my tables.  I am using a 14 inch monitor (1024x768) installed horizontally - landscape not upside down though :).  My DMD size is setup 1024x300.

1024 divided by 4 is 256.

If you have 300, it wont look right.

Also make sure ddraw in the registry is 0 and you will have a perfect dmd.

For all those who are not so familar with regedit i made a template .reg file with the needed things in.

Just insert the needed values via notepad and doubleclick to import

Was digging the forum today, still having trouble with my DMD positon after nvidia driver update.....

During search i found a tool, perhaps this would be useable for changing global DMD positions without the need of removing registry entrys and starting every table again in vpinmame to gain default values.

Was struggling with this again and find me an easier way to solve.

Just start a table, change everything you want with the DMD, exit table, open registry (regedit), delete every folder in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Freeware\Visual PinMame including default folder excluding the table folder you just opened , rename the folder of the table you just opened in default.

Very easy to do.

anyone get a bug when going to dmddevice64.dll where the dmd is hidden and you cannot move it or set it in the registry or ini file?
