Anyone knows how to add B2S.Server on old tables (buck rogers,Cheeta,...)?

I added following lines to the script but backglass does not come up.

Sub LoadVPM(VPMver, VBSfile, VBSver)
    On Error Resume Next
If ScriptEngineMajorVersion<5 Then MsgBox "VB Script Engine 5.0 or higher required"

    ExecuteGlobal GetTextFile(VBSfile)
If Err Then MsgBox "Unable to open " & VBSfile & ". Ensure that it is in the same folder as this table. " & vbNewLine & Err.Description

    Set Controller=CreateObject("B2S.Server")
If Err Then MsgBox "Can't Load VPinMAME." & vbNewLine & Err.Description
If VPMver>"" Then If Controller.Version<VPMver Or Err Then MsgBox "VPinMAME ver " & VPMver & " required."
If VPinMAMEDriverVer<VBSver Or Err Then MsgBox VBSFile & " ver " & VBSver & " or higher required."

    On Error Goto 0
 End Sub

Thanks in advance

did you create a directb2s backglass file with the same name as the table (vpt)?

Comment away this line, like this:

'Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller")

and add or replace it with this:
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")

then compile and save it.

And as Slydog43 says...name the table and the directb2s backglass file the samem, except the extension of course. :)

the problem is 'Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller") is not available in the script of some old pinball tables, i think its because they dont use roms.

so i added Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") and saved table.

Backglass has the same name as table

All my other tables work.

I got this problem with Buck Roger,Cheetah and some other old vp fullscreen tables.

When i add Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") to the Buck rogers script i get error 'Variable is undefined: 'Controller'

I am not sure of everything you need to add, but here is an example taken from the Scarface table:

Dim Controller
Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server")
Controller.B2SName = "Scarface"
Controller.Run

Cheetah is running now with backglass.

Buck rogers , the hulk gives script error line 0

Another strange thin if i change Controller.B2SName = "Scarface" to name of the backglass the backglass is not showing.

tried with vp915 and vp916.680

script error line 0 (also deleted ' the hulk line then gives error Dim renudge

SCRIPT

' The Hulk
Dim Renudge
 Dim roll
 Dim ball
 Dim RBonus
 Dim RBonusQueue
 Dim LBonus,TBonus

I guess you're not using the vpm version of BR.
I have BR running with the B2S if you want it.

I've stayed away from all vp8 tables thinking they wouldn't work with 9 and not wanting to install 8.

Just when I thought my noob was turning into novice...

I've got a lot of tables to go look for!
