This is my first table, and as such I needed to learn how/why things worked in Visual Pinball and PinMame. To do this quicker I chose to pick a pre-existing table that needed some love, but it had to be a table that I had an emotional connection with. I have been playing the Lost World version 1.0 table by Ripleyyy and Joe Entropy sence I stumbled upon Visual Pinball a few years back, and sence the real machine has a special place in my heart, I decided this was the one. So here it is, my first table. I hope you have as much fun playing Lost World v2.0 as I had making it. Playable in both VP8x, and VP9x.

-<{ Thanks go out to }>-
Ripleyyy and Joe Entropy for releasing version 1.0.
Scapino your stuff answers 99% of my 'How do I' questions.
JPsalas for also releasing a version of Lost World.
VPforums, and it's members. What a great community, and theres always something new to download/play.

I hope someone will make a FS version of this updated table. Maybe you could do that too Daveboy? I really enjoy playing this old table.

you say it plays in vp9.x

I have vp8, vp9.07 thru vp9.15

I hope this will work as you stated

I'll check it out with vp8 too and if it works in vp8 it should work with the older vp9 versions

nice desktop pin though (about time as too many are coming out as FS's)!

Mayhaps, if you havent already, you could try JP's VP9FS version released a few years back ...

thanks mac---I've been playing JPs version, but since it had a facelift, it'd be nice to see it redone. The current one does , indeed, play very well. And I love all the blips and beeps in the sound

FS tables never can be too many "coming out", faralos. To see all details on a table FS is indispensable. But I understand if there is only one monitor (4:3) around.

this pin plays okay in all versions of vp including vp8!!

no background music or anything though (it's a 'me' thing as I love a roaring soundtrack while playing)!)

but it's still a fun table and that's what counts

thanks for creating it daveboy6

And for reference I own three monitors two standard ones and one widescreen

the ws is the one I build/play pins on though

nice to see this ;)

I 'm glad your digging it RipleYYY, sorry it took me a bit longer to post it then I had originaly thought. I wanted to make sure it was playable in both VP8 and 9. Which I should thank Kiwi again for cluing me in on the spinner/gate support issue in VP9, thats what the main problem was, and also how VP9 treats the transparent color of a texture. I had to go in and tighten up the edges around all of the plastics objects because they were bleeding through around the edges in VP9, where VP8 diddnt have that issue.

I worked hard to make sure it did play in both VP8 and 9, glad your digging it. there is alot of background sounds, Three ball rolling triggers, a fast ball roll out of the kickers, the gates, a ball to ball hit at the dragons den, the spinner sound, both exit lanes, all rubbers have bounce sound, and a few other sounds. The older pins diddnt have alot of on going background music during play like more modern ones, just the scoring sound effects.

oh I ain't complaining I know EM's were sounds mostly where SS's played music

like I said it's a 'me' thing I like hard rock blasting thru my earbuds while playing that's all :)

I'll just crank up a tune or two thru youtube while playing
