Downloaded Tri-zone 1.02 and Safe Cracker today.  Installed the B2S Blackgass Server 1.25 as recommended for Safe Cracker.  While setting up Tri-zone I noticed that many of the backglass segments were not functional. Everytime I loaded the table difference segments not working.  Pic attached

Went back to B2S Blackglass Server 1.20 and everything is fine

Use this ROM for Tri Zone if you're running the dB2S backglass. Change the ROM name in the script on line 16 to trizn_t1 instead of trizn_l1 and you're good to go.

(at least this worked for me; no idea what's the difference between those ROMs)

Changing the ROM did not solve it for me.  The issue is random, sometimes all the segments are fine...

Hmmm, right now no idea. It's definitely working when you go back to v1.2 of the backglass server?

Have you tried to run the backglass in Non-EXE-mode?

You're right... I experimented a bit more and the problem still happened with the other ROM as well.

Non-EXE mode didn't make a difference for me. However at least it seems I discovered a pattern. When VP is started for the first time, the backglass is OK. But if I exit the table back to the editor and start playing again (without quitting VP), the display problem shows up consistently in all cases. Then I completely closed VP and restarted it, at the first try the backglass was OK, but restarting the game without leaving VP messed up the display repeatedly.

Since HyperPin quits VP whenever you exit to the menu and restarts it when the table is started again, the issue is not present if running the table from HyperPin. I guess that's why I thought the problem was fixed when I switched the ROMs...

The same here.
With the Backglass Server
1.2 always works , with 1.25 in exe and non-exe mode missing digits
I have noticed that lack the same digits in the Backdrop , tested with Tri Zone WS and my first dB2S backglass
.

Thanks

Max

I think I've got it. Looks like the VPM instance was not correctly recreated sometimes. Max, Tamas, Joe, anyone who wants to do a test with a server 1.26?

I'd love to, but I'm currently away from home and won't have access to the cabinet until Friday.

Hi Kiwi,

Herweh sent me the beta.  I tested it on a few tables, tables looks and plays fine when 1st launching the table.  However, pressing F3 to reset table, the table can't be played anymore.

I am a complete newbie to this and I have been reading night after night to find some way to fix the b2 backglass.  Mine has overlap and large gaps to the right side.  When I first installed all of this, it worked fine but now each time I start it up, it has weird segments repeated and overlapping each other.  I hate to ask this but is there an index or table of contents or FAQ that will point new users to the right answers.  I know it is probably frustrating to get the same questions but I do have my tables working perfect, just the B2 back glass (especially on my favorite Cirqus Voltaire) not showing correctly.  Any direction or advice would be appreciated.  Jeff

I missed this post.
Honestly, I had not tried the reset by pressing F3, it is true , the VPMame
gets stuck.
Exiting normally Esc + Q or Q + Q, the Backglass
server 1.26 always works.

Thanks
