ok not sure if this is a table bug or a 9.x bug but it happened while playing this table so I thought I'd post it here.

Basically during multi-ball one of the balls decides to stop about 10cm higher than the flippers go up 5cm then down 5 cm then back up 5 cm and then down and out as normal. All other balls in play at the time acted normally. It was almost like a magnet trap grabbing the ball and moving it up and down a couple of times before releasing. As far as I can tell this isn't a 'feature' of this table.

Just loggin it, n case anyone else comes across the same issue.

Cheers

It's a feature. A quite f'n bastard magnet, too. "It's not a bug, it's a feature!"

But anyway, it's not a VP bug, that magnet is supposed to be there. There's even a light that flashes when the magnet's on.

ok excellent..thats all right then!... I didn't really notice any gameplay lights that related to it, but perhaps everything was so hectic during multiball that I didn't have a chance to take it all in!...

Thanks for clarifying that up....and yes what a monster magnet that must be in real life!... !! smile.gif

Apocalypse owned the real machine while he converted this to VP originally - I just always trusted his magnets were what he saw on the real thing. Could be they are too strong - I don't know. The magnets should be there.

The magnets are about the same strength in Lord Hiryu's version, who also owns the table. I'd say it's spot on.

I also own the G&R pin, great pin!!!!

I has 3 magnets in the lower playfield similar to TAF pin, and they are just as strong, the ball hop you describe is unique and when I saw it on the real table the first time I couldn't believe it, I never seen a magnet catch and toss a ball like that before.

The magnets turn on on all multiball modes, just to make it harder to keep them on the playfield..
