I have no problems with people making MODS of my tables, but I like it when they ask permission
I always say yes.
I also have no problem with people using objects, images or parts of the scripts from my tables. That's what I did many times. What should I have done without destruk scripts?
One thing for sure, I should have never figured out on my own many things of the tables I made, from light numbers, solenoids, mech routines, etc.
But why so many MODS when there are so many tables to make? Many have never been done, and others don't exist for VP9.
Hola jpsalas
This MOD is not itself a mod, it is more a fix, a correction, an improvement.
I can not create a table from scratch, but I can fix a script or some other minor thing.
The table of "melon" was fine, but was unplayable due to a couple of errors in the script.
Tell me what would happen if one of your tables have a problem, relatively siemple to fix, and you you disappeared as "melon" and we can not ask permission to apply the correction. Should we make the table from scratch?
We are all taking advantage of the license "MAME-like" of Visual Pinball, which allowed the advance and new versions of VP, thanks to that: destruk, randydavis99 Maddes and did not have to create a simulator from scratch.
I would like to PROPOSE that a requirement to publish "tables" on VPForums is that it is licensed "MAME-like".
This would make grow the community of authors, and finally would all be benefited.
But I do not decide any of this. Not even know how this community are handled these decisions.
Noah Fentz: you could eventually include this as a change in the policy of the forum?
Thank you all for taking the time to read this
