Hi,

I'm trying to recompile PinMAME so that I can set the DUMPFRAMES flag but unfortunately I seem to be hitting an issue.

I've configured MingW as recommended in the documentation but I get the following error when running the compile:

C:\PinMAME\trunk>mingw32-make
Archiving obj/gcc/windows/pinmame/allgames.a...
process_begin: CreateProcess((null), rm -f obj/gcc/windows/pinmame/allgames.a, .
..) failed.
make (e=2): The system cannot find the file specified.
mingw32-make: *** [obj/gcc/windows/pinmame/allgames.a] Error 2

I can't find any source files with the name allgames so i'm not sure what exactly i'm missing.

Any clues please people?

Thanks

Pete

No one has any idea what you're talking about.   We are simple folk here.

That is a horrible response Jon.

Wired worm: although I can't help, someone should be able to assist as you are not alone in compiling the code. Are you by chance trying to dump the frames for a future pinball recreation?

That's absolutely what i'm trying to do.

Scoured the internet for a pre-compiled build but drew a blank so looked like doing my own build was the only option.

If there is no response to this thread in a day, you may want to try posting in the vpinmame forum.

Heh, I can see why I got the response I did above.

I have no idea how I managed to post this in totally the wrong forum.  I've reposted it where it should now.

No, there was no need for sarcasm towards a new user. You mentioned dumping frames, funny I figured out what you meant :)
