Halloween is coming and I wanted another 'monster' table to play so I remembered hearing about Cyclopes and I hunted it down. I've never played a full game of Cyclopes before today, but it's worth mentioning, because it has very good game play. I did a quick and dirty Fullscreen conversion to play on my pinball PC and this table has some c00L lighting effects that could look amazing if there was a night-mod to make it really come to life. I hope someone has the time and resources to re-create this in VP9 with some hi-res textures.

Thanks Eala & Destruk, this table has great lighting and very good gameplay/ball flow - it deserves more credit IMHO.

Best Regards,
Todd.

I have been playing this in FS also, good table.
I don't mind being called a PINHEAD!
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy!

I have an update/mod of this table that Eala allowed me to do a few years back, which I haven't uploaded here. I cleaned up some graphics, tweaked gameplay, added all the flasher effects, & even the fire on the backglass, all new decals & other textures, blah blah blah.
I haven't uploaded it cuz I was planning to make sure it was good for VP9, & I actually have many more resources now & wouldn't mind spicing it up even more. In fact I just ran into a couple real life cyclopes' (the pin, not the monster) & played them just a few weeks ago, & I have a ton of pics of this table, taken myself over the years with the VP table in mind. Maybe I'll upload the old mod, VP9'd, with the promise that I'll be updating it shortly.
Also, since its been so long since I did the mod, if I'm going to be adding new plastics & PF textures & all that good stuff, I might wanna run it past eala again. Maybe if he's OK with it, make this version the official version, but that is all his call.
But in the meantime yeah I guess I can upload the same mod that was at AJ's, but with a couple VP9 tweaks.
Btw, I love this table, always have since I first saw Eala's version, & liked it even more when I played in in real life for the first time about 4 years ago. May it doesn't get enough love since its "GamePlan", but I think this is easily their best pin (next to Nessie of course!).

Wow that sounds like a great plan! Will you start a WIP thread or just drop it in the downloads area? dblthumb.gif

Todd.

You might even say its a great GAMEplan Todd wink.gif

I love Cyclopes too ever since I first downloaded Eala's version. I have a highscore of 800someodd thousand that i'm pretty proud of. Would love to play this table in real life. I know Eala's version already works in VP9 but its fairly easy to get highscores if played on VP9 because of the new nudging system.

Looking forward to your new Cyclopes very much !

No WIP. The table as it is has been done for years! As I said, I'll just tweak a few things to make it more VP9 friendly & upload it as it is.
Yes there is quite a bit more I'd like to update on the table, but I suppose I can upload it as it is in the meantime, & work on a larger update in the near future.
I'll try to get the table uploaded today or tomorrow.

Personally I wouldn't mind the vp9 fix released and then a new redone one in the near future. Though I know many people have that 5 downloads a day and they don't want to have to download the same table over and over.
