File Name: Wrath of Olympus VP912 FS
File Submitter: jpsalas
File Submitted: 17 Sep 2012
File Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)
Author(s): jpsalas<br />T-800
Manufacturer: Alvin G
Year: 2012
Permission to MOD?: No

This is an original table, so don't look for a rom.It runs under VP912.
The table was designed by T-800. The rules, layout, graphics, music and sounds are his. I simply put it altogether in a VP table. If I remember right T-800 spent almost a year designing this table, and I spent 3 months on the VP table.

I should like to thank Strangeleo72 for testing the table and tips, like suggesting the use of the magna save.

This FS version includes a media pack for hyperpin.

I won't talk much more about the table, so read the manual to get an idea of the rules and goals, and most of all have as much fun playing this table as we have had designing it for you.

These are my tables, sorted by date, all them playable with VPX 7 or newer:

After 18 years making tables, it is time to take a rest and let new authors do their thing.

I guess at last I'll play some more pinball :). But I'm sure I'll make some table updates from time to time :)

Did you know that "playing pinball" is called "flipperen" in Dutch? Now you know and may your life be enriched by this arcane knowledge....

JP, T-800,

great tables, I already played 1 hour. Some improvements to my humble opinion could be ...
- spinner sound is missing

- white flasher with yellow buld are too intensive (appears unaturally)
- ball save timers are too long (initially and wizard mode)

PS: How to move the DMD? I tried with the mouse and looked for statements in the script. Please help!

Thanks again ... this saved my next weekends

I'm pretty sure that you are not going to be able to move the score to a different screen on this table at this time.

not a bad table. Entering initials tho, I noticed it's not the start button. Wasn't able to do it. Plus the when mechanical plunger was selected..it was extremely weak. Having problems getting the autokicker and plunger lined up so they both work. is there an easy way to do this?

Glad people are enjoying the game! Some feedback to questions:

Score Display: Luvthatapex is currently working on a B2S version with the score able to display on an alternative screen. It's stuck on the main screen for now. If I get ambitious I'll work with Dazz to one day get a DMD version... Sweeeeet.

Entering Initials: Use the "Enter" button to enter your initials.

Plunger: I haven't messed with the plunger options at all. The game as is on my cab with my plunger seems to propel the ball almost too fast (the auto plunger sends it flying really fast - you gotta pay attention to that baby!)

All other CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is well welcomed. I'd like to make a game that as many people as possible thinks is fun to play. :) Especially if I stay motivated and turn this into a real pinball machine (the work ROSVE has done on Gyruss is really impressive).

see I had the opposite problem. I have the nanotech plunger and at first I could barely make it up to the pops. Actually took 3 or 4 tries to get it in play. Changed the strength to 130 and now it seems fine.
