First try to reduce alpha slider
Second limit textures to 1024
Hope this fix
I can also try to work to alpha optimization to reduce alpha ramps number or use new alpha ramp method discovered.

Hallo Thanks for the fast help.
I Reduce Alpha Slider and make The Texture to 1024 maximum.
Now works much better but also a little Bit the Ball anyway stutters.

But hey thank you so much for this Version i love this Pin like i was a Child..

Thank you really much for it from Germany.

This is a great table!! Such a HUGE improvement over the VP8 version I have enjoyed for so long. Thank you very much for this!!

If I leave my settings at default (Max texture dimension--unlimited) and start this table, I get the "Could not create texture offscreen surface" error message, and VP912 crashes (Win7 64 bit). If I back it down to 1024, the table will play. I can then exit, then move back to unlimited textures, and it suddenly plays at that setting too, as long as I don't close the table--if I close and reopen it, the table again won't play at unlimited textures, I get the "could not create texture offscreen surface" message, and VP912 crashes.

Can anyone tell me why? Am I too system-limited to run this table right? Thanks!

Thanks to all VP content creators!

Yes- this table was a great improvement and I had the exact issue you did. It would only run at 1024 textures (I could never make it run any other way). Initially the table worked fine, at some point I went to a newer core.vbs and this table, along with some others that had worked, broke. I was able to resolve all those issues using the "4gb patch" program. I am not sure where the program comes from, I was turned on to it on another forum. You run the program on visual pinball.exe, it lets the 32bit VP to allocate 4gb instead of the standard 2gb. Solved Out of Memory errors for STTNG, TOM, and TOTAN for me as well.

Matt, you ROCK!!

That seems to have done the trick!! I sincerely appreciate this tip--I think it should be stickied!

Very cool, the tables you happen to mention--the one game I own is STTNG, the game I'd love to own after that is TOTAN, TOM is in my top 5, and we're talking about WCS. Yes, I'm a JPop fanboy, I admit it.

Thanks again for that tip--I hope others find this and solve the same problem with this and other tables that cause issues for them!

I have my VP912 patched with 4gpatch but i have tested the table also without 4g patch and on my pc works.
If you have "Could not create texture offscreen surface" error message please try low res vertion that solve the issue using all images less than 1024*1024 pixel

I would rather not have to dump down to low res to make it work. I have a fairly stout PC and video cards. Not sure why it is an issue. If I had not come across the 4gb patch, I would have investigated what in the new core.vbs resulted in the issue, but since they all now work, I am fine with it (actually dropped back down to XP when I got a new SSD, so it is not an issue anyway). If I recall, it was others having this same issue on this same table that brought the 4gb patch to my attention (on another site).

Off topic of this post a bit; one thing I love about the VP WCS is the ability to jack up the speed on the goalie. In the real game, my grandma could score a goal without any skill. I got that guy running so fast that more often than not, I can't hit the shot. Thanks for redoing this table Bmiki
