Hello all together,

I do not know, if this ist rhe right place, to post this problem, so feel free to move this topic.

As I ym new to all this, I follwoed the install videos on Youtube from tehkgeek

both made it easy to setup and start Visual Pinball and Hyperpin.

Now I am able to start an play a pinball machine in Desktop mode with Visual Pinball, but if I switch to Hyperspin, everything looks good in full Mode an on 2 screens. I can chang the machines, but if I want to play, I get the error: Cannot find C:\Programm Files (x86)\Visual Pnball\<GameName>.fpt

As I found out by now, fpt ist a file from Future Pinball, wich i do not use. If I copy an rename the table to the extension *.fpt and copy it to C:\Programm Files (x86)\Visual Pnball\ the machine will work, butI still can not play.

CAn anyone help me with this issue, because i can not find any fpt files arround here?

The .fpt in that error is a typo. It means that HyperPin can't find your table file. Sounds like your table path to is not correct.

Das klingt als hättest du die Tische in der Datei C:\HyperPin\Databases\Future Pinball\Future Pinball.xml eingetragen und nicht in die C:\HyperPin\Databases\Visual Pinball\Visual Pinball.xml.

Stell doch mal etwas in der C:\HyperPin\Settings\Settings.ini um:

Vorher:
[Future Pinball]
Show_Games = true

Nachher:
[Future Pinball]
Show_Games = false

Wenn deine Tische jetzt weg sind, weist du: es war die falsche xml Datei.

das ist es leider nicht. die Settings.ini unter Hyperpin sieht so aus:

Da Future Pinball auf false gesetzt ist, dürfte nichts passieren. Außerdem zeigen die Pfade ja ins Nirwana. Die Fehlermeldung heißt aber wörtlich: Cannot find C:\Programm Files (x86)\Visual Pnball\<GameName>.fpt

Hyperpin scheint alos schon mitzubekommen, dass es kein Future Pinbal gibt, aber will dennoch die Tische haben. Komisch ist nur, dass ich nirgenwo fps Dateien finde. Weder hier im Download, noch sonst wo, oder bin ich einfach blind?

Ich hatte sogar schon die Sektion mit Furure Pinball gelöscht, gleiches Ergebnis

Falls Interesse besteht: FP-Tische gibt's auch hier bei VPForums, unter 'Future Pinball Tables' in der roten Kopfzeile dieser Webseite, natürlich gezippt. Drin sind dann .fpt (Tisch), .fpl (Library) und manchmal .fps (Script)-Dateien.

Ich bekomme genau diesen Fehler wenn ich in \HyperPin\Databases\Visual Pinball\Visual Pinball.xml die VPT-Dateien mit Endung eintrage.

<game name="Whirlwind"> funktioniert, <game name="Whirlwind.vpt"> funktioniert nicht. Das gleiche passiert bei Future Pinball.xml.
