Xenon Scapino FSMod

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 9.x MOD Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): Scapino, Mod Unclewilly

Description:
Scapino's Xenon 16:9 Cabinet table modified for full screen view on a single widescreen rotated monitorUpdated with suggestions from destruk
Scapino's Xenon Cabinet Table modified for FS view
Took Scapio's Xenon Cabinet table ad made it playable for people who can't use spannig for whatever reason.
-Moved Backglass off the screen
-Scaled the table so the playfield fills the entire screen
-Moved and resized the decals for fullscreen vew.
-Resized ad moved all reels for fullscreen view
-Made the DMD visible and removed DMD positioning so you can drag it to the secod monitor or place it where you would like on a sigle rotated monitor.

I hope this helps for people who cannot span or only have a single monitor but still like the cabinet tables on a rotated screen.

Thank you so much for this Uncle Willy, I use vista and can't span tables. This works right out of the box. Looks great on my rotated monitor. The only thing I notice is the ball has a tiny bit of trails. I turned off ball shadow and everything else but It still has it... I have a Nvidia 8800gt. Whatever... It still plays great.

Thanks for sharing.

Updated with some of Destruks suggestions. 5mb file size now.

Destruk- can you look at the script and advise me what i need to do to eliminate the rest of the backglass reels, I'm not good with vpm scripting yet.

Thanks

Yeah i noticed the same exact thing, the ball like "ghosts" with a black trail? But Scapino's table looks amazing 16x9. UncleWilly is the man when it comes to conversions! Big thanks to him for doing these tables!

Hopefully someday....Cirqus Voltaire!!! good.gif

Hi,

unfortunately Xenon 16:9 and 16:9 FS Crash on my Computer unter VP 9 while "writing animations to cache"... under vp8 they start up just fine...

Any Idea?

Thank you,

Berzerk

Berzerk .. make sure in VP you got the 'Table Render Caching' ticket 'off' (see attached pic.).

Good luck!

Cheers,
FD.

Hi, while deactivating the cache didn't help, I went to the backdrop and deleted the unnecessary Backglass Animations... now it starts up just fine... strange... only the yellow E and O ligths are not working... probably the bulbs burned out :-)

Thanks,

Berzerk

oh, and one more question:

Can anyone explain to me, why I can't Y-scale XenonFS? I have a 4:3 monitor instead of 16:9 and need to make the pinball more slim.

I did that with BadCats and Flintstones without problems. With Xenon, only the flippers scale...???

Thank you very much,

Berzerk

I'm no expert but I think it has something to do with the way Scapino's tables are made using a bunch of reels that line up against each other. So the table scale is probably changing but you can't see it because the reels don't move along with that value. So modding it for your purposes is a more difficult endeavor than it might usually be.

Although I might be wrong on this... I don't think I am, lol.

yes, to modify it for 4:3 would be difficult. for the reasons stated above.

Not sure where you are going with this questoin. I own this table, and they come back down immediately just like all other tables....
