Is there a "recommended" monitor size for the two different body widths?

For the standard body, a 37" screen is recommended, and a 42" for the widebody.

Widebody glass is 43" x 23.75" - 3/16" thick. If you are going to route the sides to accommodate a larger monitor, the outside dimension totals 24.75".

We also do custom sizes.

The leg holes are indeed drilled with the cut/drill package.

Do you plan on making any table-top cabinets? Something that would accomodate a 24" monitor.

You can run 5v or 12v right off your PC's PSU for steady, always on, lighting.
I suggest going with a modular PSU for this purpose, and using one of the peripheral sources.

The LEDWiz is for ROM-controlled lighting. You can find tutorials on the latter with a search.

I just picked up the standard body flat pack w/ the Ultimate Cab Builder's kit.

I'm so stoked to get this project started! Thank you for making these flat-packs an option.

Funny you say twenty minutes. You should state for the average person!

If it was me it would take about three hours and somewhere along the way

I know I'd drop one of those board on my toes, rip the directions somehow

and lose a crucial part only to find it later that day when I step on it barefoot.

But it looks fairly simple :hmm:  (for the um..normal ones out there!) to build.

It's weird I can build models but anything large it likes to go haywire somehow!

What is the thickness of the wood panels might I ask and out of curiosity

what's the weight on that puppy?
