Cant get the DMD to show up properly in the new F14 B2S at all, Okay the problem has to be in my offset. Here is my setup for my 3 screen cabinet. Playfield is 1920X1080, Backglass is 1280X1024 and my DMD is a 15in moniter at 800X600 ( offset is where my problem is at i think) here is waht the editor gives me

1920
1080
1280
1024
2 Should this number be a 3? Or is that just for the older tables?
0
0
800
600
500 this number i threw in trying to figure out what is supposed to be
250 this number i threw in trying to figure out what is supposed to be
0

One more thing, what numbers should i change if i want to make the Speaker Grill dissapear off of the backglass?
THanks guys for helping.

To display the LED segment display on your 3rd (DMD) screen, you must fill in all entries in the ScreenRes.txt file,

1366 <-- Playfild screen X resolution (width)
768 <-- playfield screen Y resolution (height)
1280 <-- Backglass screen X resolution (width)
1024 <-- Backglass screen Y resolution(height)
2 <-- Display number for the backglass
0 <-- offset for the backglass on the selected display (normally left at 0)
0 <-- offset for the backglass on the selected display (normally left at 0)
600 <-- Width of the DMD area in pixls
200 <-- Height of the DMD area in pixels
1280 <-- X position of the DMD area relative to the upper left corner of the backglass screen
100 <-- Y position of the DMD area relative to the upper left corner of the backglass screen
0 <-- Y-flip, flips the LED display uppside down. Used in P2K style cabs.

It's easier to enter these values if you download the B2S ScreenRes Editor.

Leave the .Hidden at 1. The vpinmame display will not be needed if the correct values are entered.

Expanding on above explanations by Rosve...
1920 <-- Playfild screen X resolution (width)
1080 <-- playfield screen Y resolution (height)
1280 <-- Backglass screen X resolution (width) Or the Width you want backglass displayed as, in cases of overscan or something covering part of the screen
1024 <-- Backglass screen Y resolution(height) Or the Height you want backglass displayed as, in cases of overscan or something covering part of the screen
2 <-- Display number for the backglass
0 <-- offset for the backglass on the selected display (normally left at 0) If compensating for overscan or something covering part of the screen, this value moves image right this many pixels (x offset)
0 <-- offset for the backglass on the selected display (normally left at 0) If compensating for overscan or something covering part of the screen, this value moves image down this many pixels (y offset)
800 <-- Width of the DMD area in pixls This is the displayed width of the dmd, not the whole monitor used for the dmd, usually a 4:1 ratio to match 128:32 standard dmd size
200 <-- Height of the DMD area in pixels This is the displayed height of the dmd, not the whole monitor used for the dmd
1280 <-- X position of the DMD area relative to the upper left corner of the backglass screen How far away you want the top left corner of the dmd to be from the top left corner of the backglass display (this many pixels to the right, see image above)
100 <-- Y position of the DMD area relative to the upper left corner of the backglass screen How far away you want the top left corner of the dmd to be from the top left corner of the backglass display (this many pixels down, see image above)
0 <-- Y-flip, flips the LED display uppside down. Used in P2K style cabs.

I realize some of this may seem redundant, but it's only as a result of trying to fully explain as best possible to leave as little room as possible for misinterpretation.

It looks like you put in the wrong numbers for 2nd screen resolution, it looks more like 1024*720 (?) than 1280*1024.
try this,
1920
1080
1024
720

Sorry, but if I put 1280x720 in I get the same scores not lining up and a short backglass.
1280x1024 is the resolution I'm using.

Maybe you are one of those half blind people (seem to be a lot of them around here wink.gif) who have set the Windows object scaling to 125%.

I didn't know that would make a difference. Thanks Rosve. I am one of those people. Is there a hotkey to toggle between 100% and 150%? My cab is not a dedicated rig and is also a computer. The type is way too small.

that is a great example of the breakdown of the screen file. Could have used a nice breakdown like this earlier. Nice work.

There is usually a basic ScreenRes file included in the table download but you need to edit ot to fit your setup.
Use this little application to edit the file, B2S ScreenRes Editor.

Ok, I have B2S setup and working fine for LED/Alpha Numeric displays & EM tables but I'm having issues trying to get rid of the speaker panel on DMD games.

Attached is how my screens are setup.

Try with these settings. You probably have to fine adjust the Led pos and size settings as I dont know how much of the 3rd screen that is used for the DMD.
