The flippers are now a bit shorter - had to upload another copy for that. 130 length was too easy so they're now standard 120. It does play a bit better as I made a handful of changes to the script and the layout.

Wasn't xzotic the one who mainly converted this table? I've read the topic that this was mentioned in started by him.

Various 16:9 tables ready for finalisation.

He handed over a few of his 16:9 conversions to destruk.

The original base table was done by TAB and me. Guittar did some changes to the graphics I never really looked at, xzotic started to work on the conversion to 16:9, but I ended up not using his changes. I prefer ripping my own tables apart and working them up myself to whatever versions I end up using as it's simply easier than having to attribute individual modifications to other people. ie - Wall16 was moved four units to the left by user X, wall 62 was changed to non droppable by user Y, and three walls had their colors changed by user Z. So I took the 1.01 4:3 release version of the table and changed it to 16:9 that I'm happy with, in about 6 hours. I plan to do the same with No Good Gofers and Indiana Jones as well, going from the tables that TAB, me, and BlueTex worked on. Of course if Xzotic, or anyone else wants to work on converting tables over, they're free to do so and release them. You're not going to get any better if you don't try or practice.
It's also why I'd rather not touch any of the existing Addams Family tables - because they were done by PD - and I don't like his methods of table creation if I have a say about it. I'd rather make a new table version so I know how it all works first-hand.

Ok I see. I thought you were taking credit in someone else's work. Still would've been nice for xzotic to see his work released, but if it's easier for you to entirely convert them is fine with me. smile.gif

Makes sense. His remake versions of that table are quite realistic. Will your versions have realistic elements like his? The Addams Family is one of my favorite tables.

Yeah, its all good. I just attempted to get some of my favourite tables into 16:9 mode early on and offered them for anyone to take further and polish for release. I learned on the fly so had limited skills and certainly don't have the eye for detail that the table authors have. For me I was just pleased to get them in the right orientation and have them playable and wanted to share the work for someone else to finalise for proper release as I knew mine were a bit rough...I never wanted any credit, so its all good.

Destruk took on the tables I had listed and decided to do his own conversions which is fine by me. I've since learnt that the masters around here are considerably more skilled to do a better job than I could ever do, so I've learned to to be patient and allow the experts to undertake the conversions. There is enough great tables out there now anyway which makes the waits between new tables not so bad as it used to be.....

Thanks Destruk in following through and polishing off the tables I had in my original thread.

A little help guys...How do I get these spanned tables to work on a cab? When I run it, it shoves both the table and the back glass on the playfield all squeezed in!
