Twisty is a member here, so I'm sure we'll find out what's up and when it's back.

They share the same host as us, and I believe there was a notice that a lot of the large sites were being moved to improve that particular server performance, now that I think about it.
That's probably it.

I think they miss a payment.

Does there host have a data limit any ways?

Someone over there always forgets to pay the bill. It's happened many times in the past.
It will be back soon or in a few days.

MAMEWORLD will be back shortly...
.info and .net domains have been diverted here for the moment.
A few days ago the MAWS part of the site was compromised and a ton of spam was sent from our account, the hosts have therefore shut us down and will not discuss the issue and have not provided a backup of our account as yet (remember MW was made up of hundreds of projects, so no complete backup is held by any of us)
MAMEWorld is over 100 gigs in size, so hard to move, few hosts offer affordable packages with the bandwidth and space we require.
First priority is to get the forums back online, we will see how it goes from there.
Stay tuned, this is not the end....
