Hi everyone,

U.K calling; Just needed to say hi to everyone and thanks for all the hard work that I know you guys have put into this Site.

I am a 56 year old Bloke who has been deprived of U.S pinball machines for the past 45 Years because they are now long extinct over here; or at the very least as far as I know. There are the odd one or two but its a case of when they break they are scrap or end up in the hands of collectors never to be seen by the public again.


They have been a big part of my life since i was a kid and so now i am in a better financial position i started to wonder how much a real one would cost.

Well enter your site which i stumbled across through Google. What a revelation, with the help of your install guide i am now playing away on the Originals. They are fantastic! even on my very low spec/res laptop.

All for FREE, BUT i cant take so much so will soon be a proud SUPPORTER.

Thank you so much again, hope this makes some one feel warm for their efforts because Winter will not be so Cold for Me.

Welcome! Glad ya' found and love the Originals. many people just log in and get the recreations
it's refreshing to hear of someone playing the original tables too as many of them kick butt!

That warmth isn't normal, it may be your processor! Just kidding! Welcome to the site and enjoy all the tables here. Many great recrations, and many great originals. Some like to build one or the other. I like to build originals.

VP and its community are awesome... I only really discovered it last year and now I have a full screen cabinet in my garage - this means the winter will be a cold one after all

I think at least some machines might find their way in to public locations again if

* one can find a public location that won't lead to defacing or destruction of the game
* one can afford the requisite county licensing to place a coined game on location
* one can afford the time to routinely maintain the game at said location.

Those are at least my sticking points when it comes to this. Where I am, there are several places I would trust to put a pinball machine for play; however, what the game would achieve in terms of return vs. what I'd have to pay the county for said license as well as the split with the proprietor of the location would either break me even (not so bad) or it would cost me money (unacceptable). I would hate to have to charge $0.50 for a 3-ball game as well (except on Firepower -- that would be about right).
