Taxi (Williams 1988) [BACKLIT UVP MOD]

Version: 1.0.0
Category: Animated Backglasses

Author(s): Chris Davis-Falco, Flying Dutchman, chriz99 (of the hyperpin forums),

Description:
This backglass was photographed when the machine was powered on. When combined with the UVP script this backglass looks very realistic.

This backglass was created by CDF12345 and posted to VPForums.org and hyperspin-fe.com.

It is a combination of a high resolution backglass image from the chriz99's collection that he posted on the hyperspin forums and Flying Dutchman's UVP scripts and display bezels.

Both authors were gracious enough to give me their permission to post my adaptations of their work.

If you are looking for the original high resolution backglass images to use for a 3 display cabinet, please check chriz99's thread here:

what a shame ?
you used all the old stuff for these ?
you could have really made these shine with better bgs ?
i appreciate your efforts..but why use the older images ?
i sent all the updated images i created to dutchy a year ago ?
look at the differences in quality ?

thats the backlit version, grizz. we like the effect when the backglass is turned on, because it looks more like an original running pinball backglass

cheers
Chris

Oh that sucks, the UVP's are so pretty.
I wish when I posted new files it didn't show as new comments in the main page's sidebar.

My backbox LCD is also behind some smoked perspex so UVP images sometimes look too dark to appreciate the artwork and general effect. Good effort on your part anyway though dblthumb.gif

Ah gotcha. I briefly considered using a tinted glass for my backbox but ended up using a clear glass. I'm uploading a video of the Twilight Zone UVP Mod I just took on my test system, I'll post a link when it's done, it's high def and over 2 gigs, so it may take a while to upload and process. I'm going to do one for cyclone too.
