How interesting, I'm about to leave in 30 minutes to go to the pinball warehouse that has this pin, & the devil/hell themed original one that I'd love to see VP'd. I actually prefer that one. I assume the same guy did both but I don't know. I might have some better pics of this game if anybody wants them. I can get more today/tomorrow.

Hey Rob if you can get good pics of the upper plastics I'd like to improve that area. I live on Lake Erie, south of London. Likely about halfway between you and Noah. Too busy to get down for PAPA, but enjoy the show.

I'm not sure what is happening, but on my machine, the flippers shift position, from being spaced normally to really close together (enabling the ball to sit on it safely). Any ideas?

@Doombear: it must be magic! Seriously now, the table does that. Many others did that too, it was a kind of ball save feature.

The table that this one is based on had a feature called Zipper Flippers. The original table (Doozie) is one of only 4 tables made by Williams that had that feature according to the IPDB. If you hit certain stand-up targets on the playfield, the flippers will move to close the area above the drain so you won't lose the ball down the middle..

but how did you get flippers to move once they are in the table, I thought once flippers are down they are set forever

@faralos: You use two set of flippers, and in the script you make them visible/invisible (flipper.visible = 0 to make it invisible, and = 1 to make it visible, or true or false if you prefer). When the flippers are invisible the ball don't hit them.

Just want to say thanks to Rob046 for providing some new pics that helped me to improve the table.

I've changed the pic in the post, but I'm not sure if it's going to switch or not, so I've placed it here as well.

thanks for that tip JP I didn't know flippers had those properties too!
I didn't even know they could be made invisible and uncollidable at the same time
a very handy piece of knowledge
