Thanks for the table rovse!

However, I do have two issues with it:

1) The B2S backglass seems to be hidden in the backdrop on my system

2) The apron is missing

See screenshot below:

Any ideas what I can do to get the apron and backglass to show properly?

System specs:

Dell Inspiron E1405 Laptop 14" WS Display
Intel Core Duo 1.7Ghz 1 Gb memory
Intel integrated chipset 256 meg video ram
14" WS Display

UPDATE: I rebooted the laptop and now I can get the backglass fully displayed on the screen. I am still missing the apron though.

The apron is on the plastics image and you don't have the plastics either in your screenshot. It is 1024x2048. Do you have maximum Texture dimension 1024 checked in your video properties?

Yes I do. Also have to run this HD Render off otherwise I get the z-surface error.

Look on the backdrop and decrease the Xscale and the Yscale until the whole table is visible on your screen (so you can see tha backdrop behind the top and the bottom, just to see if that works. You can delete the big alpha ramp covering the whole table too, since it's not working on your pc anyway.

@Rosve, nice table! You are turning into a machine!

Tried both of your suggestions Bob. Still no apron. The backglass, as I had stated in my update message, does come up now after I had rebooted the laptop.

Just in case you were wondering, I did not have this issue with rosve's last B2S WS table he released.

I got it! The plastics image is a bitmap image, the maximum Texture dimension only works for jpgs. Export the plastics on and off images, change them to jpg and I think it will work.

I said it only works with jpg., but it says it doesn't work with bmp and we can now import gif, so gifs are apparently resized also. I said to change the files to jpg, but it might be better for transparency to just resize them and keep them as bmp to keep the green at a minimum around the edges.

Good luck.

Yes! Bob is right. the plastics images must be bmp's or they wont be transparent. They are 2048*1024 pixels but you can resize them to 1024*512 and they should still look ok in WS desktop view. You can do the same for the playfield images.

If your video chip can't handle Alpha transparency, just delete Ramp1.

wow great table, can anyone tell me if there is a way to turn the backless picture around on a B2S table? I only have one monitor for backless and DMD
mounted vertical, when I want to play B2S tables the backglass is the wrong way around... it wants to show horizontally .

I never had a job in data processing.

I usually can't explain how to do something in VP without posting step by step directions and I don't like to do that, it is time consuming and usually the person only needs to know 1 particular thing. I don't mind helping members that are here to stay, but avoid helping newbies who don't "search the forums" as it is usually a waste of time. I would point newbies to an updated installation setup if there was such a thing. I wouldn't be a very good computer support person, because I couldn't refrain from calling people dumb asses. smile.gif

Au contrare, I think you would have made a good support person. All you would need to do is use some clean George Carlin euphemisms for the terminology "dumb ass" and you'll be fine. At least that is what I try to do when I provide computer support and the person is so bull-headed he won't listen or says "Well, so-and-so told me it should be done this way" when it is the wrong way to do it. I would say something like "listen, I know you're computer illiterate and your mind can't cmprehend such complex concepts, but...." or something close to that. rolleyes.gif
