I just played the new Rolling Stones by Stern at my arcade (Jilly's) and I like it. The only complaint I have like most new Stern tables is that the outlanes are too open at the top. This is a small complaint since I am just grateful that Stern is still making tables.

What I mean is there is nothing blocking the outlane/inlane area so a ball could fall straight to these lanes from almost the top half of the table.

"Without that extra post, the outlane adjuster should be moved down to the lower position on both sides, as balls going anywhere near the outlanes are otherwise swallowed almost instantly. In fact, sometimes the ball would roll out of the pop bumpers straight down the side without any opportunity to play it, though that may have been a leveling issue."
It will probably need more firm nudging control - it's also much more difficult to do a flipper pass on this than wms games (per RGP) possibly due to cheaper plastic construction?

Yeah, a single play is all you need to see it's the same old, same old rehashed layout and lowest common denominator ruleset. Maybe the next game will be good... Everyone loves 20 second ball times when the ball exits the bumpers, that's a sure winning combination.

Maybe the Stones could redo their song to say "I know it's only pinball but I like it"

I just tried this for the first time today and I found this game had a awful lot of airballs when targets and posts were hit. I'm thinking this game is going to have broken plastics and a very dented playfield if it is kept on location for any length of time. Anyone else have an airball issue?
