I played this one back in October at a food show, of all places. Cool machine!

I just downloaded and played your awesome recreation ...

My first two games were awful, but my third game, I was hot!

6,744,030 final score and earned 10 credits!

I don't know all the ways to gain credits on this machine, but apparently I found them all. dirol.gif

I´ve had this great table on my Pc since it has been released.
When I saw it here, I decided to play it, but surprise, the plunger does not work anymore angry.gif ...All my other tables (122) are playing perfectly.
Dl again, delete cfg & nvram files...nothing works. sad.gif
Any idea, anybody?help.gif

Use the down arrow key.

Edit: i was wrong, with this table you just have to use the key that is set for "Plunger" in the editor under "Preferences" and "Keys".

Thanks Jlr, nice to meet you here, doing the same helpful service you were doing at the forum hi.gif good.gif
I tried this already, the plunger does not react with the arrow key.

Now when I hit my launch ball key ( numpad 0) ....(I´ve played so much pinball on that keyboard I´only still have a few keys left working for VP...), the plunger goes completely back & that´s it...does not release the ball & does not react to any key anymore.
IfI remember well Scapino has other tables with that type of plunger...I´ll make some research & testing.

EDIT: Tested Star Trek & Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the plunger works perfectly, using the down arrow key.... help.gif

You are quite right about other Scapino's tables, usually they use the down arrow key and afterwards you have to use the key set for "Plunger" in the editor under "Preferences" and "Keys",Eight Ball Champ is different as it does not use the down arrow key,you just have to use the key set for "plunger".I have no problem with the plunger and i use the "enter" key.

This is exactly what I have always done without any problem.
In this case when I hit the key set for plunger, the plunger just goes all the way back & stays without releasing the ball. After this it does not react anymore to any keys????? Never seen this happening before.

JLR...

I have no idea what the problem could be. Just to check, I downloaded EBC 4.1 from my site, unpacked it and ran it, and the plunger works as it should.
the only possible things to try are delete the nvram file for ebc.

I use the standard keymapping for the plunger.

If I play the table through the editor, using the standard keymapping for the plunger, the table plays perfectly.
What I do no understand is that my personal settings for the plunger work perfectly with my other 122 tables. unsure.gif
Getting a new keyboard will probably set it.

Thank you Jlr & Scapino.

Thank you Scapino.1234fd,i hope you will be able to get it to work, for information,i use a Logitech USB keyboard with cord and the plunger key is set at "enter".Just a last idea, did you modify the VPMKeys.vbs file by chance? i did that once to be able to configure a joystick otherwise there was a key conflict but by doing that then i had a problem with one or two tables, one or two keys did not work anymore.

Use X-Padder whenever you want to use a controller. It just maps the controller to key input, so all you have to do is configure it for VP. You can save profiles, too smile.gif

I did the following:open the editor/preferences/keys & modified the keys associatons. It works perfectly for ALL my tables but this one. sad.gif
I had to do this because the standard keys for Vp are out of use ...too much playing! rofl.gif

I use \| for left flipper, Numpad Enter for right flipper & Numpad 0 as plunger.

A new keyboard seems to be the solution. wink.gif biggrin.gif
