i just discovered a flaw in this game. it's either in the original game itself or the recreation...but you can't break 100,000,000. if/when you do, your score goes back down to 0.

it does not peg out at all 9's like many other games do, instead it reverts to zero throw.gif

i just scored 124,549,150

the result of all my hard work?

a second place score of 24,549,150

is there a workaround for this problem?

furthermore, is there a way to prove i scored over 100mil without taking a screen shot?

Most machines will clock back to zero.
Either tilt it at all 9s or take a screen shot before it ticks over.
Thats why there are so many old machines using 7digit roms when the real machine had 6 digits, so it adds another.

Unfortunately, the original table only went as high as 99,999,990. When you exceed that score, you "roll over" the machine. This is not a flaw with the recreation or the original, as the roms that were created at that time only went as high as that before rolling over. No Williams tables of that vintage pegged out, as you put it, at all 9s that I know of.

I don't believe there is a way you can prove that you rolled over the score as the score is kept in the nvram which gets the information from the rom.

you'd have to make a screen video capture of you actually rolling it over I guess, you know post it on you tube or something...
