Time Zone WS B2S

Version: 2.0.0
Category: VP 9.x Recreations

Author(s): Rosve

Description:
Bally 1973 Wide Screen release
Backglass image by Greywolf.
------------------------------------------------------
Unzip both files in the RAR to your tables folder.
The .exe (backglass) will be launched automatically by VP when starting up the table.

------------------------------------------------------
Update:
I renamed backglass exe to the correct name. Should work better now.

------------------------------------------------------
Update 1.0.1:
Fixed a number of bugs in the script. Tuned the physics, it now plays like the latest FS version.

--------------------------------------------------------
Update 2.0.0:
- Script updated to use the latest B2S backglass.

You will get this error if the exe file isn't found.
Make sure that you have the "TimeZone_WS.exe" in the same folder as the table.

My mistake,
The exe file in the RAR must be renamed to "TimeZone_WS".
I will upload a corrected table immediatly.

Great job. And really neat that you put the backglass.exe on a widescreen display format for us.

I generally like the table being a child of the "70s" I used to play the old electromechanicals down at the "Dream Machine" in the local mall. I did have to tone down the "physics settings" though. On my computer, the table slope was way too steep and the ball was dancing around uncontrollably.
One minor note: The rules award a replay at 50,000 and 100,000 points while according to the table script there is a single award at 70,000.

As soon as i press Esc the backglass goes away and the table plays fine but then i don't have a score. Ohwell, I guess i just don't have an awesome enough pc for this new setup

I don't know why it isn't running well on your PC.
When the ball is stuttering, it's because the cpu is overloaded, hitting 100% cpu-usage.
I have been running this table on my low spec laptop without any ball lag or stutter.

I have updated this table (version 1.0.1).
I have found and resolved a number of bugs in the script, including the replay levels.
It is now using the same physics settings as the FS release. I didn't test the WS table that much, I do most of my work on the FS.

I didn't think there was any interest in this table.
Maybe after I have worked through my FS tables.
