Maverick FS (beta 4)

Version: 1.0.0
Category: VP 9.x Cabinet Tables (FULL SCREEN)

Author(s): vidmouse

Description:
Based on Halftech and Destruk's Maverick Beta 4 4:3 table. I added an image from ipdb for the DMD frame. Tried to keep most of the same images that were in the original table.
The DMD rotates fine on my pc after I changed the regedit in windows. You might have to resize it.

Thanks for the table. I can't believe they made a table based on that movie though! smile.gif

Looks cool. smile.gif By setting the drain kicker to invisible, you can get rid of the white square when rendered. and by setting the plastics layer transparency color to something else you can get rid of the black dots on the instruction card.

Vidmouse, you're my hero!
Someone with a working cabinet, please let us know how it looks on there. Mine is still "some assembly required."
I had to turn the flipper power up on my desktop version and reduced the power of the plunger to dial it in closer to how the real thing plays. Can barely get the ball up to the blackjack/raise/fold spot as-is.

This is a really fun table, and now I might not have to buy the real machine to play whenever I want!

I've never seen or played the real machine, but I like it alot. A couple minor issues. I had a ball get stuck after going down the left drain and I had to power up the flippers to get it up the ramp as someone else suggested. Looking forward to an update! good job

I've got a friend that has a mint playfield that is currently stripped for this table. I'll see if I can get photos of this table along with his mint NFL playfield as well sometime in the near future.

How did the ball get stuck? I've never had that happen on this table. The only place I've found the ball getting "stuck" is if you get a ball into the Lauren Bell, it can take 10-15 seconds before it will pop the ball out. Not really sure why.

I have my lower flipper power at 15 and the upper flipper at 12 and it plays really well. Also turn down the release speed of the plunger to actually make the skill shot a skill shot instead of just blasting the ball out the back of the machine.

The best way I could describe it is, after the ball went through the left drain lane, it came to a dead stop (and I couldn't shake it loose) in the corner, where the ball would normally begin it's descent down the angled part, towards the hole.

Huh... normally you would get a kickback out of that drain (which you can reset by winning a blackjack hand). Has that kickback worked at all for you? Maybe it's related.

The kickback has definitely worked for me, but apparently it wasn't active in that instance.
