The early 80’s were a very good time for Bally
Most games that were produced at this time have become classics and highly collectable

Which is your favorite?

Eight Ball Deluxe was one of the first Pins that I purchased.
(I think Tristan was the First Pin I ever purchased.)
Both were a Mac version. I did not have a PC way back then.

Eight Ball Deluxe because we had that game in our arcade for many years and I played the hell out of it. It' still fun for me even to this day.

Elektra.

Fathom for me. I get all OCD over inline drop targets. EBD is a good one though.

Sorry it's been awhile. I have been updating the pin collection lately. smile.gif

I would have to rank them best to worse IMHO: Centaur, Medusa, Embryon, EBD, Xenon, Fathom, Flash Dordon, Elektra, Vector.

The original release was 1981, and it was so popular they made subsequent reruns of the game later.

And then of course there were the Sega/Stern ripoffs of the playfield like Golden Cue, Sharkey's Shootout, etc.

Build a fire, vipers love the heat.

@ced, votre 'traductoire' ne traduit pas si bien. Je croix que votre Anglais est mieux que la 'traductoire'. En fait, je croix que votre Anglais est mieux que mon Français smile.gif

I vote Centaur! I just don't see the appeal of EBD. I mean, I like pool/billiards, but I'm not so much on board with the whole Contemporary Cowboy thing, ya know? I liked the edginess of Centaur, plus the auto-fire multiball thing that went on. Also no saucers! The ball just keeps moving (well, I guess there's that magnet on the upper right target...).
